It also gives a nice moisturizing sensation.
ConsIt's not the type of cream that absorbs instantly, so you need to pat it in and it takes a bit of time to fully absorb. But personally, I prefer it this way!

I needed a sunscreen I could wear during Pilates, and most sunscreens feel too matte and make my skin feel tight. This one, however, has a moisturizing texture that absorbs well and keeps my skin feeling hydrated even long after application. 2. Some sunscreens sting my eyes when I sweat during exercise, but this one doesn't irritate my eyes at all, even when sweat runs into them. 3. I was worried about white cast since it has a light green color, but it absorbs well without leaving any chalkiness. The moisturizing formula even gives a slight glow after absorption. I've included a photo of it absorbed into my hand for reference. 4. My skin tends to be a bit red, and this seems to help calm the redness and even out my complexion. As for improving pigmentation, I'll need to use it longer to tell.
ConsIt doesn't absorb super quickly, so you need to gently pat it in until it's fully absorbed and looks natural on your face for that brightening effect.
TipFirstly, I'm prone to dark spots, so my dermatologist recommended frequent sunscreen application. What I love about this sunscreen is its emulsion-like texture - it's so moisturizing and smooth that I can reapply it multiple times a day without it pilling up. Secondly, because of its hydrating formula, I often mix it with matte foundations. This helps even out my skin tone and provides coverage, making it a versatile product in my routine.

That's when I discovered Real Barrier Cica Green Tone-Up Sunscreen. Let me share some great points I noticed while using it: - It's fragrance-free, which is perfect for those who dislike scented products - It applies moisturizing at first, but becomes powdery over time, preventing excess oil - It provides just the right amount of brightening, leaving skin smooth with a nice glow!
ConsYou need to apply it thoroughly to ensure it adheres well to your skin! It seems to take a bit of time to absorb into the skin, and you'll probably need to cleanse your face carefully! (To be honest, there weren't many downsides)

The tone-up sun cream I used before was thick and difficult to apply, but this product spreads on smoothly and feels soft and moisturizing. I'm not a frequent user of tone-up sun creams, but this is the most satisfactory one I've tried in terms of application. Since it's the 'Green' tone-up sun cream, it has a slight greenish tint. It doesn't have the color payoff of a color corrector or makeup base, but it provides a natural one-to-half-tone brightening effect. These days, I just wear sun cream and it has been nicely brightening my complexion. The finish is quite moisturizing. It's not overly shiny, but since I have oily skin and bangs, I did some light powder application on the T-zone. As a Hwahae Trial Reviewer, I used this during a period when my skin condition was not great, but the soothing ingredients seemed to help me use it without any irritation.
ConsSlather on the sun cream! Since this is a tone-up sun cream, it's difficult to apply the proper amount. When I first used it, I carelessly squeezed out a large amount like my regular sun cream, and almost turned into an egg ghost... You need to be careful with the application amount. If you use too much, it won't absorb well and will just sit on the skin. In the summer, I think I'll need to apply this on top of another non-whitening sun cream, but that's an extra step that's a bit annoying...
TipDon't squeeze out a lot at once. Try applying it in small amounts and adjust as you go!

Skin-friendly ingredients 3. Slight brightening effect I have combination-dehydrated and super sensitive skin. My skin is oily, prone to blemishes, and extremely reactive - it flares up easily if I use the wrong products. I also have redness issues. I love that this sunscreen is fragrance-free. As someone sensitive to scents, I'm satisfied that there's no noticeable fragrance. Plus, it's free from irritating ingredients, making it suitable even for my sensitive skin. It contains niacinamide, a brightening ingredient that's great for blemish-prone skin, and Centella Asiatica for soothing - both excellent choices! For sensitive skin like mine, mineral sunscreens are best, and this one is perfect as it's mineral-based and gentle to use. The texture is like a slightly thin emulsion. It applies smoothly without any stiffness. The color is a light sky blue. When applied, it provides a very subtle skin tone correction. It doesn't feel heavy, but there's a slight shine when applied to the face. This might be more noticeable for me due to my oily skin.
ConsFor those with oily skin like mine, you might notice a bit of shine, so you may need to finish with some powder. Also, it takes a little time to absorb into the skin. You need to apply it by patting and tapping to help it absorb.
TipIt applies better if you use small amounts in multiple layers. After application, lightly dust some powder on top for a perfect matte finish.
