They cause blemishes in the strangest way. I tried removing my makeup with cleansing water, but it felt like it didn't quite get everything off. These days I'm using a cleansing balm, which is like a happy medium between cleansing water and oil. It's incredibly hydrating and when you apply it to your face, it melts with your body heat. It's perfect for dissolving with warm water! I've gone through about 4 tubs of Heida! It does run out quickly since my family uses it too. If you're using it alone, it should last about two months. This was my first time trying a cleansing balm, and I'm impressed! It even comes with its own spoon. After using it for a few days, I find the scent and quantity quite satisfactory. The cleansing effectiveness is excellent too. I was feeling lazy and didn't use a separate eye makeup remover, just this product, and it removed my eye makeup without any burning sensation and worked really well. One thing I wish was different: it would have been nice to have an extra cap when you open the lid. The balm scoop is attached to the lid, and I'm a bit worried it might accidentally fall into the balm. I love how it keeps my skin hydrated and moisturized even after cleansing I can't think of any downsides. A small amount goes a long way

Application Initially, I was surprised by its dark color, but contrary to my expectations, it had a sorbet-like texture that was smooth and not at all stiff. After rolling it a few times with my fingers, it melted seamlessly, making the application and overall feel quite pleasant. The included spatula made it incredibly convenient to use hygienically. 2. Cleansing Effectiveness I used it by massaging for about 2-3 minutes, then emulsifying with water before rinsing thoroughly. The emulsification was remarkably quick, and it removed makeup so effectively that it felt like a double cleanse without needing any additional cleansing products. Moreover, perhaps due to the charcoal ingredient excellent for pore care, it seemed to clear out hidden sebum from various spots just from this one use. 3. Using it daily or every other day could really help manage oily skin (though it won't eliminate it completely, of course). I don't use a separate eye makeup remover, and this cleansing oil removes makeup more easily than others I've tried. Even when I rub it close to my eyes, there's no stinging or discomfort. Pros: 1. Excellent for sebum removal - My skin was covered in tiny bumps and had a lot of excess sebum, but when I use this product, the sebum comes off so well you can feel it on your hands. 2. Texture - Unlike other cleansing balms, it doesn't become too runny. 3. Cleansing effectiveness - At first, I was worried it wouldn't emulsify well due to its dark color, but as soon as water touches it, it turns white and emulsifies perfectly. It cleanses thoroughly without the need for a second cleanse, leaving no slippery residue. 4. Packaging - I absolutely love the spatula. With other products, it was difficult to store the spatula, but this one has a well-designed spatula holder, allowing for hygienic storage. Cons: 1. Scent - There's only one drawback... the scent is reminiscent of an old karaoke room. It's an overly artificial fragrance that might even give you a slight headache. While it's great that it doesn't become too runny, if you use too little, it might feel a bit stiff. It's best to use a sufficient amount for optimal results.
