It has such a powerful cleansing effect that you can really feel those stubborn dead skin cells being washed away! I tried it once when my skin was irritated, and it stung quite a bit, unfortunately. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinNov 19, 2021
After using this, I noticed less hair fall. It has a cooling effect and removes dead skin cells, which really helped reduce hair loss. I'm pleased with the results. Since it's a deep cleansing product, it's not ideal for quick morning use - it's better suited for nighttime routines. Also, if you don't rinse thoroughly, salt residue might remain on your scalp. After use, hair can feel stiff, so it's essential to follow up with the scalp pack from the same product line. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinOct 7, 2021
I started using this because my scalp was getting flaky due to the change of seasons, and it's working really well! After using the scalp scaling treatment, my hair feels a bit stiff. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinJul 28, 2021
My scalp was a total mess due to oily scalp, seborrheic dermatitis, and frequent bleaching and dyeing. While I couldn't fix my damaged hair from coloring, I wanted to address my oily scalp and seborrheic dermatitis. I bought this product, and the results have been quite good (I used it twice a week for about a month): 1. The blemishes on my scalp have decreased. Perhaps because the dead skin cells on my scalp were managed, the blemishes have significantly subsided, and I've noticed a considerable reduction in scabs forming on my head. 2. My oily scalp has improved, reducing the greasiness of my hair. As the impurities blocking my pores were removed, the oil buildup in my hair has gotten much better. Though it's summer, I can't say it's completely gone. 3. I love the cooling sensation after use. I'm not sure if it contains mint, but after applying and leaving it on for 3-5 minutes before rinsing, my scalp feels refreshingly cool the entire time. So far, I haven't found any major drawbacks, except maybe the slight inconvenience of opening and closing the cap? It's great to use twice a week as a replacement for your regular shampoo. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinJun 12, 2021
I tried this after bleaching my hair, which left my scalp with a lot of dead skin cells. It really helped clear up the flaky scalp situation. You need to be careful to rinse thoroughly so the salt granules don't remain on your scalp. This means I end up rinsing multiple times, which is a bit of a hassle. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMay 10, 2021
It really gives you that clean scalp feeling. The salt ingredient seems to wash away all the dead skin cells between your pores. There's also a slight warming sensation that leaves you feeling refreshed after rinsing! Personally, I love the scent of the Doctor For Hair shampoo. Usually, scalp-focused products can leave your hair feeling stiff, but this one doesn't do that at all. The amount you get is a bit small for the price. Also, as someone with super sensitive skin on my scalp, I found it a bit irritating. When using it, don't scrub too hard - make sure your scalp is well-soaked with water first, then gently massage it in. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinFeb 9, 2021
My scalp is super sensitive and tends to flake up when I switch shampoos or during seasonal changes. This product effectively exfoliates dead skin cells and I've seen significant improvement. The previous version had an issue with the opening getting clogged, requiring occasional unclogging. However, the case design has been improved with the opening now at the bottom, making it much easier to use so far. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinSensitive SkinDec 9, 2020
Great for removing stubborn dead skin cells! It's a product that's nice to use occasionally. (I have a dry scalp, so when I used it too often, I almost peeled off a whole layer of skin from my head, oops!) The scrub particles are quite large, so be careful - I actually cut my finger once while scrubbing my scalp. Just something to keep in mind! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinNov 7, 2020
It contains what feels like coarse salt granules, which effectively scrub away dead skin cells from the scalp, leaving a refreshing and clean sensation. The scent is also pleasant. The only downside I can think of is that it's a bit pricey, but that's not really a big issue. As the instructions mention, using it too frequently might irritate the scalp, so I'm following the recommendation and using it twice a week. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinOct 17, 2020
The sea salt particles are alive in this product! When I squeeze it in my hand, I can feel them. I occasionally deal with seborrheic dermatitis and dead skin cells, and I've tried bamboo salt beauty products before. However, this Dr. For Hair Scalp Scaler is much more loving and effortless to use. The salt particles dissolve well on the scalp in lukewarm water, seemingly melting away the dead skin cells. I'm thinking of repurchasing it. I don't think it would dissolve well in cold water, though I haven't tried it that way. After wetting the scalp and hair with lukewarm water, you need to apply some pressure with your fingertips. But be careful if you have long nails - the salt might get stuck under them.
