I've been paying more attention to scalp health lately, as I've heard that a healthy scalp leads to overall better hair health. In summer, when impurities build up, I often get itchy blemishes, so I was interested in scalp exfoliation. I tried this product and found it refreshing and effective. Why was it discontinued? It seems to have been renewed. The new version has a narrower opening, which is great for applying along the parting after sectioning your hair. The salt granules provide a cool, soothing sensation when gently massaged in. There's nothing I dislike about it. However, for those with sensitive scalps, it might be best to dampen the scalp with warm water first and massage very gently. Since it contains exfoliating particles, it could potentially cause irritation. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAug 7, 2021
The exfoliating particles seem great for a gentle scrubbing effect I have dry skin, so I'm a bit worried it might make my skin even drier, but I'll give it a try - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJan 25, 2021
The salt granule scrub is convenient since it combines exfoliation and shampooing in one step. It lathers well and has a cooling effect that leaves you feeling refreshed. The salt granules can be quite painful if you have blemishes on your scalp. Be careful not to get it in your eyes or mouth as it can be quite unpleasant. The scrub particles are large and uneven, which can cause irritation, especially along the hairline where it may turn red. I initially used it once a week, but due to the irritation, I now use it only once every few months or mix it with my regular shampoo. The packaging is designed to allow direct application to the scalp, but if not used frequently, the small opening can get clogged with dried scrub particles, which is inconvenient. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinDec 29, 2020
I rediscovered a product I used to use that was tucked away in a corner, and it's surprisingly good! It contains salt-like granules that dissolve quickly, so it's not irritating. And since it's a scalp treatment, it leaves you feeling refreshed after use. The scent isn't particularly pleasant... It smells a bit like Ten-Ten and old-fashioned salon products. Also, it gave me a slight sensation of something forming on my scalp. It wasn't much, just in one spot, but it made me a bit uneasy. Otherwise, I'm satisfied! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinDec 6, 2020
It definitely gives a sensation of thoroughly cleansing the scalp. Compared to using regular shampoo, it leaves less oily residue. The small salt granules provide a refreshing physical sensation during use, and the mint ingredient creates a cooling effect that's incredibly invigorating and leaves you feeling refreshed! If you dislike that cooling sensation, you might not enjoy this product. While it does cleanse the scalp well, which could potentially help with hair loss, I'm not certain about its definitive effectiveness in that regard. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAug 21, 2020
This scalp scrub was a lifesaver when I was struggling with dead skin cells on my scalp. I used it alongside the Phytotherapy shampoo. I'm not sure if it contains sea salt, but it has granules that really help exfoliate every nook and cranny of the scalp. Using this scalp scrub feels as refreshing as using a facial peeling gel - it leaves your scalp feeling soothed and cool. Be careful not to use it too often as it can be a bit harsh on the scalp. It's best to use it only occasionally. Also, the scent isn't particularly pleasant. - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinAug 21, 2020
The granules provide a refreshing scrub for the scalp, giving a cool sensation The container is inconvenient. When trying to squeeze it out, the granules get stuck and won't come out - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinAug 21, 2020
Two-piece K products are a bit unique, probably because they're not that common. The sea salt particles are noticeably larger, which can be slightly stimulating on the scalp, but they're really effective at removing dead skin cells. It was a bit challenging to use on long hair. Even when I focused on the scalp, my hair kept getting tangled every time I tried to massage it in. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAug 21, 2020
When I want to exfoliate my scalp, I gently massage it with the granules. It feels refreshing, and it seems to reduce oiliness for that day. I found it challenging to evenly distribute the granules on my scalp. It's easier to sprinkle them directly from the container onto your scalp rather than putting them in your hand first. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAtopy SkinJul 16, 2020
First off, the salt granules stimulate the scalp, creating an incredibly refreshing sensation. As you massage, it produces a rich, soft lather that seems to effectively control oil in the hair. While there weren't any major drawbacks, I've seen many reviews mentioning that the salt particles can be difficult to rinse out, sometimes remaining on the scalp. You need to be extra careful when rinsing. It's time-consuming to wash out thoroughly, which can be inconvenient on busy days. Using this in combination with a kaolin scalp pack makes your hair incredibly soft.
