I started using this because my scalp was getting flaky due to the change of seasons, and it's working really well! After using the scalp scaling treatment, my hair feels a bit stiff. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinSensitive SkinMar 16, 2021
The fragrance is lovely, reminiscent of a subtle banana scent. It's so refreshing for the scalp after use. After using it, my hair feels a bit stiff. That's why I need to follow up with a treatment. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJan 27, 2021
I highly recommend this! On days I use it, my scalp doesn't smell even the next day. It leaves my scalp feeling incredibly refreshed. I started using it after getting a scalp treatment at a massage parlor because I loved the results so much. The quantity isn't generous. You need to use quite a lot when you first start. It's crucial to apply it only to the scalp, avoiding the hair as much as possible, otherwise your hair can become very stiff. Also, be extra careful not to let it touch your skin. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinDec 13, 2020
It's not just the refreshing sensation - when you touch your scalp afterwards, it feels incredibly clean and fresh. While the scalp feels cool, my hair turns into a frizzy mess after using this. Even expensive treatments can't save my locks from losing their shine when I use this product. Forget about hair texture - if you're struggling with scalp blemishes, I highly recommend giving this a try. It's been a lifesaver for me, effectively tackling itchiness and flaky patches that often appear on my scalp. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAtopy SkinJul 28, 2020
It feels refreshing, as if the dead skin cells on my scalp are being washed away. It's so cool and soothing! Using this product alone makes my hair feel too stiff. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinJul 19, 2020
There's definitely a refreshing sensation. It feels like it cleanses thoroughly. After using the product, my hair seems to become stiff. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinJul 17, 2020
Cleansing effectiveness: I switched to this product because my previous natural shampoo wasn't cleansing well enough, leaving my scalp oily with dead skin cells. I was worried the salt content might be irritating, but it's not harsh at all. It dissolves easily in water and cleanses wonderfully. My scalp feels so refreshed afterwards! I recommend using it 2-3 times a week rather than daily. Lather: It produces a moderate amount of foam. I mainly use it on my scalp, so it wasn't an issue for me. Texture: When you scoop it out, it feels a bit gritty due to the salt content. But with a little rubbing between your palms, it quickly dissolves into a shampoo-like lather. Massaging it into your scalp gives a cool, refreshing sensation. Scent: It has a fresh, menthol-like fragrance. While it might not be everyone's cup of tea, I personally enjoy it. The container opening often gets clogged, so I have to open it every time I use it. Also, because it's such a strong cleanser, it can leave your hair feeling stiff, so I highly recommend using a conditioner afterwards. I use this product primarily on my scalp 2-3 times a week, and I use a separate natural product for my hair. This approach helps prevent my hair from drying out too much, which works well for me. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinJun 25, 2020
I have an oily scalp with seborrheic dermatitis. I'm not using this product daily, but about twice a week. Given my oily and seborrheic scalp, I used to experience quick oil buildup and itchiness. However, when I use this product twice a week, it feels really refreshing and there's much less oil production. Since it removes dead skin cells, I don't experience itching anymore. I'm truly enjoying this product. It's especially useful for those with oily scalps during summer. The downside is that after washing, your hair becomes stiff. Make sure to use a conditioner. But even with conditioner, when drying your hair, it still feels stiffer compared to other products. Secondly, the volume is too small... I wet my hair thoroughly, lather up with the shampoo, leave it for about 10 seconds, then massage it again before rinsing. This method really eliminates any itchiness. I now use this technique with my regular shampoo as well. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMar 2, 2020
I used up the whole bottle. My scalp is prone to blemishes, so I can't use just anything, but this product was great because it seemed to soothe itching and reduce breakouts. It left my scalp feeling incredibly refreshed after use. In my case, the salt granules were actually inconvenient to use. It's not a foaming type, which made it tricky. With my long hair, it kept getting tangled... It made washing my hair more of a chore. I don't plan to repurchase. This product might be better suited for men with short hair rather than women. The functionality itself is good. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinNov 27, 2019
I've been using this product for over a year now. After coloring my hair a few times, my scalp became dry and itchy, so I started massaging it with jojoba oil. However, this would leave my hair feeling heavy even after shampooing. That's when I discovered a great routine: I use the sea salt scalp scaler after massaging with jojoba oil. This way, my hair doesn't feel weighed down, and I'm still able to nourish my scalp. I do this once a week. The instructions suggest twice a week, but unless you have extremely oily hair, once a week is perfect. Also, after coloring or bleaching, there might be residual chemicals on your scalp. To avoid irritation, don't use this product on the same day - wait until the next day to do a thorough scalp scaling. One time, after coloring my hair, my scalp was itchy and tingling, but using this product made it feel much better. It definitely seems to remove impurities and residue effectively. I love how refreshed it makes my scalp feel! Sometimes it's hard to get the product out even when there's plenty left inside. I guess it's because it's thicker than regular shampoo. While it works fine for me after using jojoba oil, using this product alone makes my hair feel extremely stiff, as if it's stripped of all oils. I highly recommend this for people who frequently color or bleach their hair. Using it the day after a color treatment is actually recommended by the company that makes this product.
