It definitely removes excess oil and leaves my scalp feeling refreshed, like I've had a massage While it gives that refreshing feeling, which is also its strong point, I'm concerned that frequent use might damage the scalp - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinDec 6, 2020
It definitely gives a sensation of thoroughly cleansing the scalp. Compared to using regular shampoo, it leaves less oily residue. The small salt granules provide a refreshing physical sensation during use, and the mint ingredient creates a cooling effect that's incredibly invigorating and leaves you feeling refreshed! If you dislike that cooling sensation, you might not enjoy this product. While it does cleanse the scalp well, which could potentially help with hair loss, I'm not certain about its definitive effectiveness in that regard. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAtopy SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinSep 11, 2020
When my hair feels a bit greasy, using this product seems to significantly reduce the oiliness and make it softer. It also leaves my scalp feeling refreshingly cool. I'm not quite sure what the scent is supposed to be, but it wasn't particularly pleasant. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAtopy SkinSensitive SkinAug 24, 2020
After using this, my scalp produces less oil and I'm less worried about odor at the crown. I've been using it twice a week. The volume is a bit disappointing, but since I bought it on sale at Olive Young, I'm not too upset about it. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAug 21, 2020
When I want to exfoliate my scalp, I gently massage it with the granules. It feels refreshing, and it seems to reduce oiliness for that day. I found it challenging to evenly distribute the granules on my scalp. It's easier to sprinkle them directly from the container onto your scalp rather than putting them in your hand first. - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinAug 19, 2020
I absolutely love the refreshing sensation it gives my scalp! Although the salt granules are quite large and might seem harsh, when you actually use it, it feels wonderfully cooling on the scalp. It's great at removing excess oil, so I use it about twice a week and I'm really satisfied with the results. I honestly can't think of any downsides to this product. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAtopy SkinJul 16, 2020
First off, the salt granules stimulate the scalp, creating an incredibly refreshing sensation. As you massage, it produces a rich, soft lather that seems to effectively control oil in the hair. While there weren't any major drawbacks, I've seen many reviews mentioning that the salt particles can be difficult to rinse out, sometimes remaining on the scalp. You need to be extra careful when rinsing. It's time-consuming to wash out thoroughly, which can be inconvenient on busy days. Using this in combination with a kaolin scalp pack makes your hair incredibly soft. - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinJul 5, 2020
The salt particles give a refreshing sensation, and you can feel the scalp being thoroughly exfoliated without needing a separate brush! After the scalp treatment, it seems to remove excess oil so well that your hair feels almost dry just from towel-drying. While it feels refreshing after the scalp treatment, I do get a few blemishes popping up, unfortunately. They appear as small red spots, but they don't get worse and usually disappear after a few days. I part my hair with a comb and apply the product between the sections of the scalp, then massage it in. Leaving it on while I brush my teeth and then rinsing seems to be just the right amount of time! - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinJun 25, 2020
I have an oily scalp with seborrheic dermatitis. I'm not using this product daily, but about twice a week. Given my oily and seborrheic scalp, I used to experience quick oil buildup and itchiness. However, when I use this product twice a week, it feels really refreshing and there's much less oil production. Since it removes dead skin cells, I don't experience itching anymore. I'm truly enjoying this product. It's especially useful for those with oily scalps during summer. The downside is that after washing, your hair becomes stiff. Make sure to use a conditioner. But even with conditioner, when drying your hair, it still feels stiffer compared to other products. Secondly, the volume is too small... I wet my hair thoroughly, lather up with the shampoo, leave it for about 10 seconds, then massage it again before rinsing. This method really eliminates any itchiness. I now use this technique with my regular shampoo as well. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJun 16, 2020
As someone with an oily scalp, I used to get greasy hair and dead skin cells even right after washing. But since using this, the flaking has noticeably stopped. I love that it lathers well and has salt-like granules for extra cleansing effectiveness. Immediately after use, my hair feels so dry that I can't even run my fingers through it. You'll definitely need to follow up with a hair oil or treatment.
