These days, my skin is clearer with just a couple of blemishes around the chin, but it's still sensitive. I'm very cautious when choosing skincare products, let alone makeup. 👍 Ingredients: <Eco-friendly to marine ecosystems> (Doesn't contain oxybenzone or octinoxate, which are harmful UV filters) I was pleased to find that this sunscreen doesn't contain these ingredients, which can harm coral reefs and are not ideal for sensitive skin. It's a win-win for both the environment and our skin. 👍 White cast: <Gives a subtle brightening effect> Despite claims of no white cast, there is a slight one. It's like a translucent, brightening effect - as if you've just washed your face with rice water. I personally like it as it enhances my skin tone without being excessive. It should be fine for most skin tones, but some might not prefer it. 👍 Texture and application: <Fluid emulsion-like texture, improves skin texture> This was one of my favorite aspects. The fluid emulsion-like texture spreads easily and leaves the skin feeling firm and hydrated, like a perfect makeup base. Unlike some sunscreens that leave a greasy film, this one absorbs well with just the right amount of moisture. It's so similar to a light emulsion that I've even used it in place of my regular moisturizer. It's ideal for those with combination dehydrated skin or those prone to blemishes from oily sunscreens. 👍 Skin feel: <Gentle on the skin> It applies smoothly without irritation, feeling as gentle as a moisturizer. Unless you're sensitive to UV filters, this should be a very mild and comfortable product to use. I'd especially recommend it for those with sensitive skin who struggle to find suitable sunscreens. 👍 Scent: <Mostly unscented, slight sunscreen smell develops over time> Initially, there's no detectable scent, which is great. After 2-3 hours, a very faint sunscreen (ocean-like) smell starts to develop, becoming more noticeable after about 4 hours. However, it's not overpowering and shouldn't be an issue for regular sunscreen users. 👍 Quantity: <Generous amount> I was pleasantly surprised by the large quantity. It's perfect for daily use from spring through summer, allowing liberal application on face, arms, legs, and hands multiple times a day. Many sunscreens come in smaller 150ml bottles, making it tricky to use on the body, but this one offers great value for its size and quality.
Cons👎 Sensitivity issues: <Irritation and itching after 2 hours> Due to my sensitive skin, I started experiencing itching and redness about 2 hours after application. It's fine if removed before the 2-hour mark, preventing irritation and occasional localized blemishes. I suspect this might be related to the diminishing UV protection of titanium dioxide over time, but that's just my guess. Despite its good qualities, I'll have to limit its use to only when absolutely necessary, which is disappointing. 👎 Portability: <Bulky due to large size> The large quantity, while advantageous, makes it less portable. The product is quite heavy and takes up a lot of space, making it inconvenient to carry around. You might need to transfer some into a smaller container for on-the-go use.
Tip🍯 [Difference between chemical and physical sunscreens] Chemical sunscreens use organic UV filters that absorb UV rays and convert them into less damaging heat energy. They typically have better absorption and no white cast, but may contain potentially irritating or allergenic ingredients like oxybenzone and avobenzone. Physical sunscreens use mineral ingredients to reflect UV rays from the skin's surface. While traditionally known for their thick texture and white cast, many modern formulations have improved on these aspects. They're generally safer for sensitive skin, with zinc oxide and titanium dioxide being the most common ingredients. 🍯 [Recommended for] • Sensitive skin (if not allergic to titanium dioxide or zinc oxide) • Combination dehydrated skin • Dry skin • Normal skin • Combination skin • Those seeking a brightening sunscreen • Those looking for a sunscreen that can double as a moisturizer • Those seeking a gentle, non-irritating sunscreen 🍯 [Application tips] • For best results, apply after prepping your skin with toner • Can be used in place of your regular moisturizer • Apply in thin, even layers rather than one thick layer to avoid white residue

Just FYI! The texture is a light emulsion, which applies so smoothly it just puts you in a good mood! Surprisingly, there's absolutely no stickiness! I found that amazing! Maybe it's because I'm used to sticky sunscreens, but this felt so fresh and nice! Highly recommended for those who dislike sticky sunscreens! It's fragrance-free, which I love! Many people can't use products with strong scents, right? I'm somewhat like that too... But this has zero scent! Being a large size, you can generously apply it not just on your face but all over your body too! And since it's not sticky, you can apply it freely! While the large size isn't very portable, I plan to bring it to school events in summer for frequent reapplication!
ConsThe brightening effect... isn't really noticeable? You might feel a slight radiance, but if you're looking for a sunscreen with powerful brightening properties, this might not meet your expectations. After using it for a while, I developed blemishes on my cheeks... Itchy, bumpy blemishes appeared, so I can't use it on my face anymore...
TipThree-line summary: Fragrance-free, applies like an emulsion with no stickiness Not much brightening effect Large size good for liberal application
