It has minimal white cast, a subtle scent, and isn't greasy. It doesn't sting my eyes, comes in a generous amount, and is budget-friendly. It's simply the best for me.
ConsIts matte finish sometimes causes pilling. It can feel a bit drying at times. I'm frustrated that it suddenly disappeared from everywhere, possibly discontinued. I've never found a sunscreen that suited me this well, so its abrupt discontinuation is really disappointing.
TipIt's great, but since it's discontinued, that doesn't matter anymore.

It layers nicely over my Physiogel cream, and I love how lightweight it feels. The price point is great too. I've been using it even during winter, and I plan to make this a staple in my skincare routine for life.
ConsThere's nothing negative to say. The volume is generous, and the price is excellent. I hope they keep selling this for a long time. Highly recommended!

It absorbed quickly without any white cast, feeling fresh, so I thought 'this is it' and applied it generously on my face like a moisturizer. After all, it's better to apply sunscreen liberally...
ConsApplication: Is this really non-white cast? My face turned completely white! To avoid the white cast, you need to apply it very thinly like a BB cream. But if you apply it that thinly, it won't provide enough sun protection, right? Anyway, my face looks ghostly white, and it stays that way even hours later. Moreover, if you touch your face even slightly, it pills like dead skin. This really surprised me... The sunscreen just peels off in flakes, leaving bare patches. Blemishes: I felt a burning sensation right after applying, but I thought it was just a cooling effect and continued. However, about an hour later, I developed itchy, mosquito bite-like bumps in several spots. I have super sensitive skin, so finding products that work for me is rare - maybe 1 in 10. So I won't blame the product entirely. Anyway, after washing it off and writing this review the next day, my entire face is itchy, stinging, and developing rash-like bumps here and there. This always happens when a product doesn't suit me. Sigh...
TipNot recommended for sensitive skin. Even if you don't have sensitive skin, it pills like dead skin cells. Absolutely can't be used with makeup, so if you're going to use it, only use it on bare skin. If you really, really insist on using it... well, good luck!

I haven't been using it for long yet.
ConsIt pills under makeup. Is there any mineral sunscreen that doesn't pill when applying makeup?

Absolutely no eye irritation! I'm extremely sensitive to eye irritation, so I deliberately applied the sunscreen around my eyes as soon as I received it to test it out. There was zero stinging sensation. 2. Even on my darker skin tone (shade 23), there was no white cast or color mismatch. 3. I have oily skin, so I usually avoid products that feel greasy. However, I really liked the balanced finish of this sunscreen - it wasn't oily at all. The application was also moisturizing and smooth, making it super comfortable to use!
ConsDepending on your skin condition and the amount applied, it can pill a bit. When applied over some dead skin cells, I noticed it clumping up slightly and appearing white. However, this was only visible upon very close inspection and wasn't really noticeable. The main issue was that it would pill if I applied too much. I tend to use sunscreen more for UV protection rather than as a makeup base, so I usually apply an amount slightly larger than a 100 won coin but less than a 500 won coin. After sweating a little and checking the mirror 5 hours later, I found that it had pilled all over my face, leaving white patches. It was quite shocking to see it had pilled so much (especially on my cheeks) after just a brief bout of sweating outdoors...
TipRemember to control the amount you apply!

It was great how the sunscreen blended naturally with my complexion after application. The way it absorbs is better than many other sunscreens I've tried. When cleansing, unlike previous products that left me unsure if they were fully removed, this one washes off completely. After using it, I'd say it's not bad at all!
ConsThe only downside is that the price seems a bit steep for the amount you get.

My skin type is dry with redness, but I don't experience blemishes or tightness. 1. Texture and application: It has a moisturizing, light emulsion-like texture. It spreads smoothly without dripping or clumping. 2. Fragrance: Fragrance-free. There's no scent at all due to the absence of added fragrances. 3. No white cast: Unlike typical mineral sunscreens, this one leaves absolutely no white cast. While it doesn't provide tone correction, it seems to smooth out skin texture when applied following your skin's contours (in my subjective opinion). 4. Powder-like finish: Despite its moisturizing emulsion-like texture, it dries to a non-sticky, powder-like finish. 5. No eye irritation, itching, or tiny bumps whatsoever!
ConsWhile I didn't experience any major drawbacks during use, there are a few minor points worth mentioning. [Update 7/28/2020: After consistent use, I've noticed an issue! It pills... For some reason, it pills. Could it be incompatible with my skincare products? It pills and turns white like dead skin cells. When I gently rub it, it comes off in long, eraser-like clumps. As my skin gets dry, it appears as white flakes... I wonder why? I'm curious if those with oily skin experience the same issue.] 1. Dryness: Even though I tend to apply my skincare products generously, this sunscreen quickly absorbs the oils, leaving my skin feeling dry. It's not tight, but it might be a bit lacking for those with dry skin in winter. It should be fine for use any time except the coldest months. 2. The thin texture leads to using more product. Initially, I worried about how long the 120ml would last, but I found myself going through it quickly with reapplication. The thin application is both a pro and a con. 3. Price point: While there are no major flaws with this product, I'm unsure if it offers better value compared to other affordable sunscreens. If paying full price... well, it's a price that makes me hesitate a bit.

A mineral sunscreen that's great to use with almost no white cast! My skin condition: U-zone lacks moisture with dry, sensitive areas around the chin and mouth. T-zone: forehead isn't oily but prone to blemishes, nose gets shiny within an hour. = I have combination skin. I recommend this for: 🧡 Those looking for a cost-effective sunscreen with a larger volume than the usual 50ml or 80ml 💛 Those seeking a less drying mineral sunscreen Ingredients: 5/5 According to Hwahae, it contains zero harmful ingredients, so you can use it with peace of mind! No skin irritation when applied, and stearic acid is relatively low on the list, so you shouldn't worry much about clogged pores. Application: 5/5 Despite being a mineral sunscreen, it doesn't have that typical dry, draggy texture. It applies moistly at first, which is great! White cast: 4.5/5 There's a slight white cast initially, but it's more like a subtle brightening effect. Hydration: 4.5/5 Some mineral sunscreens can leave your face feeling dry, but as the product claims to have a water base, I didn't experience any dryness at all!
ConsIt's a mineral sunscreen with almost no white cast, which makes me wonder if it's providing proper UV protection. Unfortunately, there's no mention of UV protection tests in the product promotion, which is disappointing. These days, many SPF50 products are available, but often they don't provide effective sun protection when used. I wish they would conduct separate protection tests to demonstrate that this product is suitable for use in any season.
TipMy skincare routine: Morning: Dokdo Cleanser → Rovectin Skin Essentials Essence → Dr. Alga Aloe Soothing Gel → Dr. Jart+ Vital Hydra Biome Moisturizer → Leegeehaam Grow Niacin Ampoule 10% → Lait'eau Sunscreen (Dr. G Green Mild Up Sun for the nose area to reduce oiliness) Evening: Torriden Cleansing Oil → Dokdo Cleanser → Rovectin Skin Essentials Essence → Dr. Alga Aloe Soothing Gel → Dr. Jart+ Vital Hydra Biome Moisturizer → Dr. Different Vita A Cream

Surprisingly for a mineral sunscreen, it's not thick at all - it's just like applying a regular emulsion! I didn't notice any white cast, which is great since I personally dislike sunscreens that leave a white residue. That was definitely a plus for me. The fragrance-free formula gives it a gentler feel. There's nothing worse than a sunscreen with an unpleasant scent, so I'm really happy this one is unscented! I absolutely love that it has a flip-top cap instead of a screw-on lid. With large bottles like this, it can be frustrating to accidentally drop the cap when trying to close it. The one-touch cap is such a great feature! With its generous amount and easy application, it feels like a versatile sunscreen you can apply liberally all over.
ConsIt's not really a downside, but since I've been staying indoors a lot lately, I couldn't really gauge its UV protection effectiveness. I'll probably get a better sense of that come summer... There's a slight feeling of dryness that develops after some time.

First off, I love that it comes in a large size, so I can use it generously without worrying about running out. The scent is almost non-existent, and despite being non-nano, it doesn't leave much of a white cast. Now, let's talk about what I consider most important - how it absorbs! I'm someone who dislikes both sticky and heavy finishes, but this sunscreen applies smoothly while feeling refreshingly light! It's so non-greasy that I can reapply multiple times without any discomfort. I think I could recommend this to both oily and dry skin types. After a week of use, I haven't experienced any blemishes, so I plan to keep using it. I'm thrilled to have discovered such a great product that I wasn't familiar with before!
ConsI really can't think of any downsides. I tried to come up with something, but nothing comes to mind!
