First off, this sunscreen truly lives up to its claim of being hydrating. When I first applied it, I could immediately feel the moisturizing effect on my skin! However, once it absorbs, it leaves a soft, matte finish that doesn't cause my foundation to pill. Usually, if I use the wrong sunscreen, I break out in tiny bumps all over my face, but this product was fine! I think I was able to use it worry-free due to its gentle ingredients.
ConsGiven its high moisture content, the texture is a bit runny. Because of this, when I gently squeezed the tube, too much product came out unexpectedly. One downside is that it contains stearic acid, which can clog pores. This is purely my personal experience, but I had some blemishes on my chin that had almost cleared up, and after using this product, they seemed to flare up again. I suspect it might be due to the stearic acid. However, it's hard to find sunscreens without this ingredient, so I'll probably continue using it with this in mind.
TipI recommend this product for: - Those who prefer a lightweight sunscreen without white cast - Anyone looking for a sunscreen that doesn't cause makeup to pill - Those who find their current sunscreen too thick or drying

I was lucky enough to be selected as one of The Hwahae Testers, so I'm writing this review. I'll be completely honest with you! When I first saw it, I was surprised by its large size. Although I haven't been going out much lately, I've been applying it diligently whenever I do. My skin is super-duper sensitive (like, a million times sensitive), so if a product isn't gentle, my face completely freaks out. I was a bit worried when I applied it, but nothing happened! You can use this year-round, regardless of the season. My mom's using it too! She loves that it's fragrance-free. Before going to work, she comes to my room saying, 'Oh, this is so good!' and applies it. I always use it when I go to academy or hang out with friends. I think we'll use it even more in summer. By the end of this summer, our family might have used it all up! When that happens, I'll definitely buy the Non-na-non sunscreen again! The color is pretty too, like forsythia yellow. It claims to have brightening effects, but I like that it doesn't make me look overly pale. It brightens naturally, so it's great for school too. However, if you're looking for intense whitening, you might not be satisfied. I'll be back in a month with an update! + April 29th I'm still using this product every time I go out!! I use it daily. My skin is really sensitive, so there aren't many sunscreens that work for me. But this one, which I received through the event, suits me perfectly. The large quantity is great too. It's truly my holy grail. Amazingly, it doesn't cause any blemishes at all. Since I'll be using it all year round regardless of the season, I love that there's a lot of product. Once I finish this, I'll definitely buy it again!
ConsThe size might be inconvenient for carrying around. But on the bright side, the large quantity lasts a long time!

Some products even cause itching, acne, and blemishes. But this one feels gentle right off the bat, which I love. No itching at all! - Smooth application Not thick or sticky at all when you squeeze it out. It has a slightly runny texture that spreads easily on the face. - Not sticky - No fragrance You know that typical sunscreen smell that's so strong it can make you nauseous? I really hate that scent, so I'm thrilled this one is fragrance-free. There's absolutely no smell. The product description mentions a slight scent might develop over time, but I haven't noticed anything - it's great! - Subtle brightening effect I have a slightly tanned, yellow-toned complexion, and this gives me a slight brightening effect. It's not like a white cast though, which I appreciate. - Good for dry skin (Assuming you've done a good skincare routine first) It works well with my dry skin! I think it would suit those with oily skin too. - No eye irritation Some sunscreens can make your eyes sting all day, which is miserable. I haven't experienced any irritation with the Letoile sunscreen!
ConsThe only downside is that it doesn't seem to play well with my other skincare products or makeup. Not sure if it's a compatibility issue, but my makeup doesn't apply as smoothly. It tends to pill a bit... I plan to use the Letoile sunscreen on days when I'm not wearing makeup! Other than that, I haven't found any other cons yet.
TipI'd never tried a mineral sunscreen before, but I got to try the Letoile sunscreen as part of The Hwahae Testers program. I'd give it a 90 out of 100 (only because I've only used it for a few days). I'm really satisfied with it. The pilling issue might be due to my other skincare products, so I don't think it's entirely the fault of the Letoile sunscreen. It's perfect for those days when I'm going out bare-faced and need to apply something quickly. I love how gentle and smooth it is!

I've had super sensitive skin since middle school, prone to breakouts from incompatible cosmetics, during my period, or sometimes for no reason at all. Even when I manage to clear up acne, my sensitive oily skin tends to flare up again quickly. I previously used Dr.G Green Mild Up Sun sunscreen, which wasn't perfect but noticeably gentler than other sunscreens. I'll compare this to the Dr.G sunscreen, known for its good ingredients: 1. Application Letwa wins for application! While Dr.G starts smooth but gets stiffer, Letwa's texture is like an emulsion or moisturizer - it applies so smoothly and feels hydrating. 2. Ingredients Both have incredibly safe formulations. If I had to compare, Dr.G contains more extracts and natural oils. While intended to benefit the skin, these might not suit everyone. In contrast, Letwa has a much simpler ingredient list, seemingly including only what's necessary for a truly gentle sunscreen. 3. Finish Personally, I prefer Dr.G's finish! When applied in small layers, Dr.G leaves a powder-like finish without oiliness. As I have oily skin, I tend to prefer this matte finish. However, for dry skin or cold winters, I'd likely reach for Letwa more. It finishes light and moisturizing, like a base skincare product. It might also work better under makeup due to its hydrating properties. 4. White Cast Neither product leaves a white cast.
ConsJust when I thought I'd found something better than Dr.G, I noticed some dead skin cells on my nose area. Also, after a while, it became slightly oily. When I applied makeup over it, the skin near my lips turned red. I thought my lipstick had smudged and tried to blend it, but it wouldn't go away. Turns out, it was actually irritation... It did subside after a few hours though. Since the pros far outweigh the cons, I plan to continue using this product.

I hope it helps those with similar skin types in choosing products. First, let me describe my skin: 1. Super sensitive skin (my face turns completely red if I use incompatible products... I always check EWG ratings) 2. Occasional small blemishes, not severe acne 3. Extremely combination dehydrated skin 4. Between normal and oily skin Now, let's dive into the review based on these skin characteristics. I'll be comparing it to the 'Round Lab 365 Derma Relief Sun Cream' I used previously. 1. Super sensitive skin ⇒ (5/5) The ingredients are excellent, so I wasn't too worried. As expected, it's very gentle! There's zero irritation after application... It's not suffocating at all! Sometimes sunscreens can cause eye irritation or a stuffy feeling, leading to small blemishes, but this one doesn't even after all-day wear. I ended up tossing my remaining Derma Relief Sun Cream after trying this product. 2. Occasional small blemishes ⇒ (4/5) I usually get a few small blemishes around my chin when my skin feels clogged, but even after wearing a mask all day, I had fewer breakouts than with the Round Lab sunscreen! It's a significant reduction, but not completely gone, hence the one-point deduction. 3. Extremely combination dehydrated skin ⇒ (4/5) It lives up to its hydrating base claim... it's moisturizing! The texture isn't heavy like a cream, but has a watery consistency. It might feel slightly lacking for combination dehydrated skin that needs a bit of oil. I always layer my skincare thoroughly, so I didn't have any major issues! After using the Derma Relief Sun Cream, which was quite drying, this product felt wonderfully hydrating. 4. Between normal and oily skin ⇒ (5/5) The texture doesn't feel suffocating, so it applies smoothly like adding another layer of moisturizer. It's not excessively hydrating or oily! If you're looking for a matte finish that controls oil, this might not be suitable. But for my skin type, it was perfect! It's fresh and light, without being greasy or heavy.
ConsThe quantity is a bit much... You need to use it up within 6 months after opening... It's really too much for just applying to the face... In summer, you could use it on arms and legs, but it's tricky in weather when you're not exposing those areas! Please release a smaller size too!
Tip+ It works well under makeup. However, in summer, you might need to use a matte foundation. + There's almost no white cast. It's truly for sun protection rather than tone correction.

This sunscreen is truly gentle and suits my skin perfectly. I used to struggle with stinging and irritation from sunscreens, but I couldn't go without it. After carefully comparing ingredients, I discovered this product. It's fragrance-free, which makes it feel even gentler. I love that it comes in a large size since I need to use it daily! It's moisturizing yet leaves a fresh finish, so I'd recommend it for all skin types regardless of your complexion.
ConsI wish they would offer more discounts. Although it's a large size, the price is still a bit steep.
