I was looking for a sunscreen that wouldn't pill when I apply foundation over it.
ConsToday, I didn't feel like wearing foundation, so I applied my usual skincare routine - toner, emulsion, and cream - followed by this sunscreen before heading to work. When I got home, I noticed that it had pilled around my chin area, looking like dead skin cells. I'm not sure if wearing a mask made it worse. While the ingredients are good, the pilling issue is disappointing. I probably won't use it again, except maybe on my arms and legs in summer. What a shame!
TipHow are others managing to use this without experiencing pilling?

Just FYI! The texture is a light emulsion, which applies so smoothly it just puts you in a good mood! Surprisingly, there's absolutely no stickiness! I found that amazing! Maybe it's because I'm used to sticky sunscreens, but this felt so fresh and nice! Highly recommended for those who dislike sticky sunscreens! It's fragrance-free, which I love! Many people can't use products with strong scents, right? I'm somewhat like that too... But this has zero scent! Being a large size, you can generously apply it not just on your face but all over your body too! And since it's not sticky, you can apply it freely! While the large size isn't very portable, I plan to bring it to school events in summer for frequent reapplication!
ConsThe brightening effect... isn't really noticeable? You might feel a slight radiance, but if you're looking for a sunscreen with powerful brightening properties, this might not meet your expectations. After using it for a while, I developed blemishes on my cheeks... Itchy, bumpy blemishes appeared, so I can't use it on my face anymore...
TipThree-line summary: Fragrance-free, applies like an emulsion with no stickiness Not much brightening effect Large size good for liberal application

Causes blemishes This is why I deducted two stars... On the second day of using this product, I started getting small bumps on my forehead and even pimples on my cheeks. My sister and I used it together, and she also got a few pimples the very next day after using it. My sister especially doesn't usually break out from skincare products, so seeing both of us react this way makes me think it might be because of the sunscreen. The only recent change in my skincare routine was this sunscreen, so I looked into its ingredients, which actually seemed very good. In the end, it just didn't suit my skin. 2. Dryness While it feels very moisturizing when applied, it tends to get a bit dry as time passes. I suppose this is due to its powdery finish. I personally prefer a matte finish even if it's slightly drying, so this aspect might be subjective. I don't consider it a major drawback, but I thought it was worth mentioning for those considering this product.
Cons1.
TipSince it comes in a large size, I plan to use it on my arms and legs too. I think it'll be great for summer as it's not sticky.

I've had super sensitive skin since middle school, prone to breakouts from incompatible cosmetics, during my period, or sometimes for no reason at all. Even when I manage to clear up acne, my sensitive oily skin tends to flare up again quickly. I previously used Dr.G Green Mild Up Sun sunscreen, which wasn't perfect but noticeably gentler than other sunscreens. I'll compare this to the Dr.G sunscreen, known for its good ingredients: 1. Application Letwa wins for application! While Dr.G starts smooth but gets stiffer, Letwa's texture is like an emulsion or moisturizer - it applies so smoothly and feels hydrating. 2. Ingredients Both have incredibly safe formulations. If I had to compare, Dr.G contains more extracts and natural oils. While intended to benefit the skin, these might not suit everyone. In contrast, Letwa has a much simpler ingredient list, seemingly including only what's necessary for a truly gentle sunscreen. 3. Finish Personally, I prefer Dr.G's finish! When applied in small layers, Dr.G leaves a powder-like finish without oiliness. As I have oily skin, I tend to prefer this matte finish. However, for dry skin or cold winters, I'd likely reach for Letwa more. It finishes light and moisturizing, like a base skincare product. It might also work better under makeup due to its hydrating properties. 4. White Cast Neither product leaves a white cast.
ConsJust when I thought I'd found something better than Dr.G, I noticed some dead skin cells on my nose area. Also, after a while, it became slightly oily. When I applied makeup over it, the skin near my lips turned red. I thought my lipstick had smudged and tried to blend it, but it wouldn't go away. Turns out, it was actually irritation... It did subside after a few hours though. Since the pros far outweigh the cons, I plan to continue using this product.
