It's not thick or sticky when applying, more like a light emulsion. I even use it around my eyes without any stinging. Definitely a winter essential for keeping skin hydrated.
ConsIt tends to run easily with sweat in summer. I feel like I'm sweating more than usual when wearing it too.

This is my first review as a Hwahae Tester, so I made sure to use it thoroughly! * The amount is generous. I love that there's enough to apply not just on the face, but also on the neck and arms. * As it's a mineral sunscreen, it's an excellent choice for those who can't use chemical sunscreens. * The texture isn't thick or heavy - it absorbs smoothly and easily. * Usually, matte sunscreens can be irritating due to their dry application, but this product's smooth application is a real plus. * I've used it for over a week, and while I did get some blemishes on my chin due to wearing a mask, this product didn't cause any breakouts. It seems to suit my skin well. * I appreciate that it has less of that typical sunscreen smell (you know, that beachy scent?). * At first, I thought there might be a white cast because it applied so smoothly, but once I spread it out, it absorbed completely with no residue! * I'm pleased to have found such a gentle, non-irritating sunscreen from an unfamiliar brand. I have a feeling it'll become popular soon!
Cons* The texture is so smooth that I thought it would be a moisturizing product, but after application, it actually felt quite matte... I even felt it was a bit drying. * When I applied moisturizer before the sunscreen for hydration, it didn't exactly pill, but it did clump a bit. I found it works better when applied after a serum or ampoule. * It can tend to pill around the edges of the face, so apply thinly in those areas. * You need to use it up before it expires, so don't be stingy - apply it thoroughly on your neck and hands too. Is this a pro or a con? Haha!
Tip* Don't skimp on application - use it generously on your neck, hands, and back of the neck. It's important to use up sunscreen before it expires! * Those with dry skin might need to apply a good base skincare routine first. * Be careful when opening the product if it's been standing upright, as the contents might spill out. Open it gently!

Whether it's day or night, summer or winter, we all know applying sunscreen is an absolute must! I'm so happy to have found a sunscreen that goes on as lightly as an emulsion. 1. Texture and Application: In my 23 years of life, this has the best application of any sunscreen I've ever used! It truly glides on as smoothly as a moisturizer or emulsion. I actually don't enjoy applying sunscreen due to its typical stickiness, and honestly, I often can't be bothered unless it's blazing hot outside. But this product is so fluid - not runny, but just right - that I can apply it daily without any fuss. After application, there's absolutely NO feeling of a heavy sunscreen film on your face. It feels like you've applied nothing at all, just like putting on an emulsion after washing your face. 2. No Excess Oil, Yes to Hydration!: Personally, I tend to get oily in the T-zone, so I usually prefer matte sunscreens. Typically, moisturizing sunscreens make my T-zone unbearably greasy as the day goes on. However, this Mineral Sunscreen lives up to its name - it's full of hydration without the oiliness. My makeup never broke down due to excess oil! It's moisturizing but oil-free, making it perfect for me. It's not burdensome at all to apply before makeup. 3. No White Cast, Natural Complexion Enhancement: Reading other reviews, I noticed the lack of white cast is seen as both a pro and a con! This product truly leaves no white cast. However, that doesn't mean you can't tell you've applied anything! As mentioned earlier, it doesn't feel heavy like makeup, but you can see how it evens out your skin tone. 4. Gentle Ingredients: If I had to sum up this sunscreen in one phrase, it would be 'a gentle sunscreen full of hydration'! Just like our life partner Hwahae, I checked and found no harmful ingredients for any skin type. It's a product you can trust and use with confidence!
ConsTo be honest, I didn't find any major drawbacks! If I had to pick something, it might be the expiration date. It's a large volume product, so unless you're really slathering on the sunscreen, it might be difficult to use it all before it expires. But personally, I don't buy cosmetics just because I've used up the previous one... We buy cosmetics when we want them or feel inspired, right? So for me, this isn't really a con. In fact, the large volume could be seen as an advantage - regardless of the expiration date, you can use it generously without worry! Oh, and because it's a large volume product, it might be inconvenient to carry around. It's more of a product to keep on your vanity. Lastly, I think those with extremely dry skin might find it a bit drying if used alone. While it's a hydrating sunscreen, it does have a fresh finish. If you have dry skin, you might want to mix it with a suitable oil or layer it over a moisturizer.
TipRetowa Non-nano Mineral Sunscreen is made with 84% water-based, skin-friendly ingredients! Let's all apply this hydrating and refreshing sunscreen from now on!

First, my skin type is combination dehydrated with occasional blemishes! Application and Absorption: The application is incredible... It's honestly the best among all sunscreens I've tried. The texture is slightly emulsion-like, but it's an emulsion full of hydration. It absorbs immediately without any need to pat it in. Applying it was a revelation - there's absolutely no stickiness. Natural Skin Enhancement: It doesn't whiten your skin like other sunscreens with white cast, but it does make your bare skin look a bit brighter, almost like a primer effect. However, don't expect too much as it's not a dramatic change. Hydration: While the hydration is a bit ambiguous, I loved how moisturizing it felt during application! It feels incredibly hydrating when you apply it and right after, but as time passes, it becomes slightly matte. Still, the initial application is as hydrating as any emulsion. Oil-Free: There's so little oil, you might forget it's a sunscreen. Unlike other sunscreens that made my skin oily, this one is truly a hydrating sunscreen with almost no oil. No Blemishes: Sometimes sunscreens can cause blemishes due to their oil content, but I've never had a breakout with this one. It also sets quickly, so there's no pilling when you apply makeup over it. It's perfect. I'll definitely repurchase this! When I run out, I'll buy it with my own money. It's my holy grail sunscreen!
ConsWhile it feels moisturizing when applied, it sets to a slightly matte finish. As someone with combination dehydrated skin, it's not drying enough to cause tightness, but those with very dry skin might find it a bit drying. After applying and wearing a mask for about 2 hours, there was slight pilling, probably due to the humidity.

No white cast either! I've been using hybrid sunscreens because mineral ones are usually thick, leave a white cast, and feel drying. Organic sunscreens give me blemishes, unfortunately. But this product seems to have addressed the drawbacks of mineral sunscreens!
ConsThere's a tiny bit of deep dryness. I guess that's unavoidable with mineral sunscreens.
TipThe large size means you can apply it all over your body in summer!

Some products even cause itching, acne, and blemishes. But this one feels gentle right off the bat, which I love. No itching at all! - Smooth application Not thick or sticky at all when you squeeze it out. It has a slightly runny texture that spreads easily on the face. - Not sticky - No fragrance You know that typical sunscreen smell that's so strong it can make you nauseous? I really hate that scent, so I'm thrilled this one is fragrance-free. There's absolutely no smell. The product description mentions a slight scent might develop over time, but I haven't noticed anything - it's great! - Subtle brightening effect I have a slightly tanned, yellow-toned complexion, and this gives me a slight brightening effect. It's not like a white cast though, which I appreciate. - Good for dry skin (Assuming you've done a good skincare routine first) It works well with my dry skin! I think it would suit those with oily skin too. - No eye irritation Some sunscreens can make your eyes sting all day, which is miserable. I haven't experienced any irritation with the Letoile sunscreen!
ConsThe only downside is that it doesn't seem to play well with my other skincare products or makeup. Not sure if it's a compatibility issue, but my makeup doesn't apply as smoothly. It tends to pill a bit... I plan to use the Letoile sunscreen on days when I'm not wearing makeup! Other than that, I haven't found any other cons yet.
TipI'd never tried a mineral sunscreen before, but I got to try the Letoile sunscreen as part of The Hwahae Testers program. I'd give it a 90 out of 100 (only because I've only used it for a few days). I'm really satisfied with it. The pilling issue might be due to my other skincare products, so I don't think it's entirely the fault of the Letoile sunscreen. It's perfect for those days when I'm going out bare-faced and need to apply something quickly. I love how gentle and smooth it is!

It's easy to apply and great for full-body use in summer! You know how some sunscreens can be thick and difficult to spread on your body? Well, the Rets Non-nano Mineral Sunscreen has none of that - it's smooth and spreads easily, making it perfect for full-body application! It's ideal for those looking for a gentle, fragrance-free sunscreen that works hard to protect your skin.
ConsThe price seems a bit high for the amount you get, and personally, I found it left a slightly sticky feeling after application, which was disappointing. I've tried various sunscreens, and some feel incredibly light, as if you're not wearing anything at all. Unfortunately, the Rets Non-nano Sunscreen leaves a very slight sticky feeling after application. It's not overly bothersome, and some might perceive it as a moisturizing effect. This is just my personal preference, so please take it as a reference point!
TipIt's more suitable for body use than face! With no white cast and great absorption, it's perfect for applying on your body during summer!

It applies smoothly without any white cast, stiffness, or stickiness, feeling more like a moisturizer than a sunscreen. I typically use sunscreen before makeup rather than on its own, and when I apply base makeup over this product, my skin looks as if I'm having a great skin day - the makeup adheres well and creates a beautiful, dewy glow (even with matte foundation!). I love how it helps create a moisturized makeup look, concealing dead skin cells and giving a flawless skin finish. Sometimes I mix sunscreen, makeup base, and foundation for a lighter application, as I dislike the heavy feeling of layering sunscreen, primer, makeup base, and foundation. Even in this case, it provides the same moisturizing feel as mixing with emulsion or moisturizer, which I found satisfying. I recently found a suncare product I really liked and was planning to stick with it, but after using this sunscreen, I've changed my mind. There are so many excellent sunscreens out there... Due to its hydrating properties, I'd recommend this to those with dry or combination dehydrated skin.
ConsI applied for The Hwahae Testers because I liked that it was a low-irritation product that passed skin irritation tests. However, I was surprised by how much it stung when I first applied it. While it doesn't cause skin issues like redness or hives, it had a burning sensation similar to applying emulsion on broken skin. Fortunately, the stinging doesn't last the entire time the sunscreen is on - it disappears after a while.
TipIt's a bit disappointing that I can't fully experience and accurately evaluate its UV protection effectiveness since it's not the season with strong sunlight.
