I highly recommend this for those with sensitive skin or a damaged skin barrier. It's probably the gentlest cleanser I've ever used. It absolutely doesn't remove sunscreen, so it's best suited for morning cleansing only. Since it's a mild, non-foaming gel type, its cleansing effectiveness is quite low. It almost feels like you haven't used a cleanser at all, which might make it unsuitable for evening cleansing. For those with super sensitive skin or combination dehydrated skin, this cleanser could be a great addition to your daily skincare routine. However, keep in mind that while it's gentle enough for morning use, you might need a more effective cleanser for removing makeup and sunscreen in the evening. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinNov 23, 2024
Gentle enough for those with sensitive skin to use comfortably. Highly recommended for dry skin types who can't handle overly foamy cleansers. As someone with oily skin, I prefer cleansers that thoroughly remove sebum and oil. I wasn't a fan of the runny texture that you have to massage in without lathering. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinNov 8, 2024
My skin is extremely sensitive. It usually flares up at the slightest provocation, with folliculitis throwing a party at every opportunity. However, this product didn't cause any adverse reactions. It felt particularly gentle, with no noticeable irritation. While it didn't cause any irritation, I can't say it had any significant benefits either. It seemed to have no effect at all - my skin neither worsened nor improved, so I'm unsure if it's actually suitable for me. Also, although I've gotten used to it now, the lack of foam makes it feel like it's not cleansing effectively. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinSep 7, 2024
This is the only cleansing product I could use gently and painlessly on my rosacea-prone skin. When I use sunscreen, I use this as my first cleanser, followed by a second cleanse with a low pH foam cleanser. After thoroughly washing, my skin feels perfectly clean! At first, I was skeptical about its cleansing effectiveness because it's a gel type and doesn't foam up. I had to get used to this aspect through actual use. The only downside is that the quantity is a bit small for the price. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJun 19, 2024
I have sensitive combination skin. My dermatologist recommended Zeroid, which I've been using consistently. This time, I trusted the brand and bought the Dermanel Cleansing Gel too. I love how it doesn't leave my skin feeling dry after cleansing! It doesn't lather up, so I'm not sure if it's actually cleansing, but I'll trust it because it's Zeroid. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinMay 13, 2024
It's so gentle that I could use it even on days when I visited the dermatologist Since it's a product without any foam, it feels like it runs out quickly compared to its volume - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAtopy SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinApr 15, 2024
I highly recommend this for sensitive atopic skin. It's incredibly gentle and washes off about as easily as sunscreen. There's nothing, I just don't know if it's washed off since it doesn't lather. It's good. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinOct 2, 2023
It's gentle and mild, making it suitable for sensitive skin types It doesn't seem to cleanse well. Even when wet, it doesn't lather up much - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinSep 5, 2023
Great for sensitive skin types to use without issues. I used it effectively for morning and evening cleansing when my skin was particularly sensitive. Using a small amount feels like it irritates the skin, so you end up using more and finishing it quickly. I tried it for both first and second cleansing, but since it doesn't lather, I'm not sure if it cleanses thoroughly. It seems to allow sebum buildup, making skin texture look worse and somehow giving a dull complexion. Might be better for dry skin. While using this, I realized that a foaming cleanser works better for me. Update: For those with oily T-zones, use a more effective cleanser just in that area. When I used alkaline soap for cleansing due to excess sebum, my skin looked bright momentarily but then I could see my skin barrier breaking down, so I returned to this product. I'm not using it because it's amazing, but because I can't find a cleanser that suits me better. For oily skin types, it might be best to use this only as a first step cleanser to remove makeup. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAtopy SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJul 26, 2023
None. I thought it would be gentle, but it wasn't suitable for my skin. You have to rub the gel directly on your face without lather, which seems to irritate the skin. After cleansing, my entire face becomes flushed and blotchy. After using it for about 4-5 days, blemishes appeared all over my face, making it rough and bumpy. Those with super sensitive skin should use this product with caution.
