I highly recommend this for those with sensitive skin or a damaged skin barrier. It's probably the gentlest cleanser I've ever used. It absolutely doesn't remove sunscreen, so it's best suited for morning cleansing only. Since it's a mild, non-foaming gel type, its cleansing effectiveness is quite low. It almost feels like you haven't used a cleanser at all, which might make it unsuitable for evening cleansing. For those with super sensitive skin or combination dehydrated skin, this cleanser could be a great addition to your daily skincare routine. However, keep in mind that while it's gentle enough for morning use, you might need a more effective cleanser for removing makeup and sunscreen in the evening. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinMay 20, 2025
I didn't have any acne before, but after using this product, especially on my forehead and temples, I had an explosion of small white pimples and blackheads... I also got them scattered on my cheeks... I bought the large size, but ugh... My skin is not being properly cleansed, and I'm having breakouts. It's a waste of money. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMar 11, 2025
I have blemish-prone sensitive skin, and a dermatology clinic staff member with similar issues recommended trying cleansing milk or gel. They suggested the Zeroid Gel from Olive Young, saying it's gentle enough even for atopic skin. How could I resist trying something so highly recommended? I rushed to Olive Young right after my dermatology treatment. Just a heads up - not all stores stock it, so it's best to check availability before visiting. Anyway, I bought it and started using it. It's perfect for those who feel uneasy just rinsing with water to remove overnight dust. I'd say it's more suitable for dry skin types than oily ones. After cleansing, it leaves your skin feeling somewhat hydrated. Being a gel, it doesn't have the cleansing power to remove makeup effectively. I use it as a second cleanse after removing my makeup. I wouldn't recommend it for those who find double cleansing bothersome. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinFeb 21, 2025
It's gentle and doesn't irritate my skin, which is why I like it. The downside is that its cleansing effectiveness seems a bit weak... It might not be enough to use on its own. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinFeb 4, 2025
As someone with super sensitive skin, this product seems to work well for me The cleansing effectiveness is poor, and I'm left with an uncomfortable feeling like not everything has been washed off - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJan 16, 2025
The cleansing effectiveness is decent and it's gentle, making it suitable for sensitive skin I'm using this as a first-step cleanser for makeup removal, but its cleansing power isn't enough, so I follow up with a foam cleanser. I wouldn't recommend it for oily skin types as a morning cleanser - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAtopy SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJan 13, 2025
It's gentle enough to use on combination dehydrated and super sensitive skin types While it might not be the most effective at removing stubborn makeup like mascara, it's generally good for overall skin care - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinNov 7, 2024
I was lost after my long-time favorite product was discontinued. Then I came across this one with tons of recommendations and glowing reviews, so I decided to give it a try. I'm using it now and it's absolutely fantastic! While it can't remove all my makeup on its own, I've found it works well as a morning cleanser or as the first step in my evening double cleanse routine. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAtopy SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinOct 27, 2024
The ingredients are good and it's gentle on the skin. Unfortunately, that's about the only positive thing I can say. I wouldn't recommend it. Despite the good ingredients, something doesn't agree with my skin. Especially on my forehead, it caused a lot of blemishes to appear. While it's mild, the cleansing effectiveness is too weak. It's even less effective than water-based cleansers. If you decide to use it, I'd only recommend it as a morning cleanser. Absolutely avoid using it to remove makeup. On top of that, it's quite pricey. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinOct 2, 2024
I've been consistently using over 10 bottles of Zeroid Cleansing Gel because foaming cleansers tend to make my super sensitive skin react Since I don't wear heavy makeup, I can't really comment on its cleansing effectiveness
