This is the only cleansing product I could use gently and painlessly on my rosacea-prone skin. When I use sunscreen, I use this as my first cleanser, followed by a second cleanse with a low pH foam cleanser. After thoroughly washing, my skin feels perfectly clean! At first, I was skeptical about its cleansing effectiveness because it's a gel type and doesn't foam up. I had to get used to this aspect through actual use. The only downside is that the quantity is a bit small for the price. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinAug 22, 2024
As someone whose skin barrier was damaged due to steroid ointment side effects, I struggled to find a suitable cleanser for the days I had to wear makeup. Every product I tried seemed to worsen my skin condition. That's when I discovered this gem, recommended in a skincare forum. I'm absolutely thrilled with it! For color cosmetics, I first use a lip and eye remover, then apply this gel directly to my made-up face without water and gently massage it in. It effortlessly removes all traces of makeup. Although I paid around $20 for it, which might seem pricey, it's truly worth every penny for its effectiveness. There's nothing disappointing about this product except for the price. After all, I bought it to protect my skin barrier. You can either apply the gel directly to your face and wipe it off with a tissue, or rinse it off with water. Both methods work well. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJun 22, 2024
I've gone through over 10 bottles of this product - it's truly become a staple in my routine. My skin is super sensitive, so I can't use just any cleansing product, but this one gently removes makeup and impurities without drying out my skin. That's why I keep using it. Highly recommended for those with sensitive skin! The lack of sales or promotions makes it a bit pricey. While I continue to purchase it due to its effectiveness, buying the large pump bottle does put a strain on my wallet. It would be great if they occasionally offered promotions, like including a travel-size with the purchase of the large size. Apply the product to dry hands and face, then gently massage in circular motions. It even removes eye makeup effectively without causing much irritation to the eyes. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinFeb 25, 2024
The photo I've attached is of the larger size version, but it's the same product! This is truly my holy grail cleanser!! I first tried it when my dermatologist recommended it, and it's amazingly gentle on both ingredients and formulation, yet still removes makeup effectively!! It takes off eyeliner, lipstick, and eyeshadow, so unless you're wearing mascara, you don't even need a separate eye makeup remover... That's how effective its cleansing power is. After washing with this product, it's best to apply your emulsion right away, of course, but even if you wait a bit, your skin doesn't feel tight. That's how good its hydration is!! Usually, people say that if you wear makeup and do deep cleansing too often, it can irritate your skin. But this one is so gentle that there's no irritation at all when cleansing. When I wear makeup, I just double cleanse with this, and if you follow up with a bit more moisturizer than usual, it's perfect. There are honestly no downsides. My skin was in really bad shape, and I spent over $500 at the dermatologist. Now I only get occasional blemishes when my skin's not at its best, and this product has been with me through it all. The instructions say to use it without water and then wipe it off, but using it without water is absolutely essential!! The cleansing effectiveness seems to differ completely depending on whether you use water or not. When I wash with water, I notice more blackheads, but when I cleanse without water, my skin becomes smooth without any issues!! As for wiping it off, I actually skip that step because I worry it might sensitize my skin. Instead, I just massage it in thoroughly with my hands and then rinse with water, which seems to be enough. For those who want to wipe it off, you could use something like the sponges they use at dermatology clinics! - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinFeb 19, 2023
As someone with skin that gets dry from foaming products, I typically can't use them. Continuously using high-cleansing, foamy products can thin the skin barrier, so I usually opt for cleansing gels. That's why I was thrilled to find this product. It's gentle yet effective at cleansing, and I'm using it regularly now. I'd say it's 90% satisfying for its price point! After use, there's no residue, and my skin feels moisturized. There's no irritating fragrance, and it cleanses well enough that you can even remove it with just a tissue after massaging, without rinsing. It effectively removes basic makeup, including base products. Even when I wipe with toner after cleansing, I've never seen any makeup (base products) come off. To be honest, its cleansing power isn't the strongest, so you should use it as a second step after using a cleansing oil or lip & eye remover for the first cleanse. Make sure to massage it thoroughly without adding water first. I use a lip & eye remover as my first step, then follow with this product. The mascara shown in the photo is from Kiss Me, and I don't usually wear concealer or waterproof products, so it seems to remove base makeup well. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAtopy SkinSensitive SkinDec 5, 2022
✓ Cleansing effectiveness Despite being a gel, which I didn't expect much from, I was surprised by how well it removed makeup when I massaged it in and wiped it off with a sponge. Its cleansing power exceeded my expectations, which was impressive. ✓ Oil-free This product is oil-free and even gentler than cleansing water. ✓ No eye irritation True to Zeroid products, there was no eye irritation or other discomfort. ✓ Fragrance-free While there's a very slight scent from the ingredients, overall it's practically fragrance-free, which I appreciated. There weren't any downsides! The volume is generous and I'm satisfied! It's a great product. Using a soft sponge to wipe it off leaves your skin even cleaner. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinDec 2, 2022
The instructions say to apply it without water first, then wipe and cleanse. It seems they want to prevent impurities from lingering on your face for too long. At first, it felt thicker than expected, but it removed makeup well without any major issues. After rinsing, I liked that my skin didn't feel too squeaky clean and maintained its hydration. It removes sunscreen, but I wonder if it would have removed heavy makeup in one go. For me, it's not an issue since I only wear sunscreen, but I wouldn't recommend it if you want to remove intense makeup in one step. Also, the application method makes it a bit inconvenient for morning use. I recommend this for combination to dry skin types and those who typically wear light makeup. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinDec 2, 2022
The texture is like a thin, soothing gel, similar to a hydrating moisturizer, with no noticeable scent. When using it, you can feel how gentle it is on the skin, causing no irritation! I usually wipe off cleansing gels or creams with a tissue before doing a second cleanse, but when I first got this product, my skin was feeling super sensitive. So I rinsed it off with water immediately after use, worried about potential irritation. To my surprise, it left no residue and felt refreshing, while still effectively removing all traces of makeup! While it doesn't give that squeaky-clean feeling you get with a cleansing foam, it doesn't leave your skin feeling dry afterwards. Instead, it keeps your skin feeling hydrated, which is really nice. For light makeup days when you're just wearing sunscreen, this product alone might be enough for your cleansing routine, without needing a double cleanse. I've been using the Zeroid cream, which was recommended by my dermatologist, and I love it. When I follow up this cleansing gel with the Zeroid cream, my skin feels even softer and smoother. I'm extremely satisfied using them together! I think I've found my perfect combination for this winter. While it doesn't leave makeup residue behind, as mentioned earlier, it doesn't give that squeaky-clean feeling. So for days with heavier makeup, you might need to follow up with a cleansing foam as a second step. Using Zeroid Cleansing Gel followed by Zeroid Intensive Cream together is the best combination - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAtopy SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinDec 2, 2022
- Zeroid, as always, causes no irritation - Not only is it gentle, but it's also smooth when massaging, allowing for comfortable cleansing even when skin is sensitive - It seems to cleanse better than my previous low pH cleansing gel. The old one didn't rinse off well, feeling oily, but this one washes away easily - While I'm not sure about its effectiveness on makeup, it does a good job of removing facial impurities - Being a low pH cleansing gel, it leaves less tightness after washing. On good skin days, there's no tightness at all, and on not-so-good days, just a slight tightness - Considering it's twice the price of what I used before, I can't really pinpoint any significant benefits. If it had noticeably improved my skin, it might be worth it, but apart from rinsing off better, I'm not sure of its advantages. Zeroid products always seem expensive to me, with their only clear benefit being that they don't irritate - I usually don't use low pH cleansers for makeup removal as I find it unsatisfying, so I'm not sure about its makeup cleansing power. I typically use a separate foaming cleanser for a second cleanse. But from other reviews, it seems it doesn't remove makeup well - It's a very average product without any dramatic effects +Jan 3, 2023) I thought my skin condition was poor due to blemishes, but it turns out it was because of this product. I only used it when not wearing makeup, but if it's causing issues even then, I wonder if it's just not cleansing effectively It's decent for use on days when I'm not wearing makeup It might just be my product, but the lid is hard to open, so be careful not to close it too tightly or it'll be difficult to open next time - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinDec 2, 2022
I started using Zeroid on my dermatologist's recommendation, and I've been impressed by both its ingredients and effectiveness. I usually use water or balm-type products for my first cleanse, so this gel-type cleanser was new to me. It's a clear gel that you can use without water, and I was pleasantly surprised by how well it removed even eye makeup. Its cleansing effectiveness was better than I expected. There's nothing particularly disappointing about this product. It leaves no residue after cleansing, and I'm very satisfied!
