I highly recommend this for those with sensitive skin or a damaged skin barrier. It's probably the gentlest cleanser I've ever used. It absolutely doesn't remove sunscreen, so it's best suited for morning cleansing only. Since it's a mild, non-foaming gel type, its cleansing effectiveness is quite low. It almost feels like you haven't used a cleanser at all, which might make it unsuitable for evening cleansing. For those with super sensitive skin or combination dehydrated skin, this cleanser could be a great addition to your daily skincare routine. However, keep in mind that while it's gentle enough for morning use, you might need a more effective cleanser for removing makeup and sunscreen in the evening. - o_******Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRednessMay 28, 2025
As it's a Zeroid product, it instills a sense of trust that it will soothe my skin. However, the reality is that my redness got worse after using this. Why is that? I also feel like my deep dryness has become more severe. What's going on? This is strange. I bought this while struggling with dermatitis, but now I can't understand why I should use it. Even a first-step cleanser seems better than this - I'd prefer a milk cleanser. For super sensitive skin that's prone to irritation, it's crucial to patch test new products and consult with a dermatologist if symptoms persist or worsen. Sometimes, even products designed for sensitive skin can cause unexpected reactions due to individual skin differences. - go*****Oily SkinAcne SkinMay 20, 2025
I didn't have any acne before, but after using this product, especially on my forehead and temples, I had an explosion of small white pimples and blackheads... I also got them scattered on my cheeks... I bought the large size, but ugh... My skin is not being properly cleansed, and I'm having breakouts. It's a waste of money. - le*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessRednessRecommendedMay 13, 2025
Super gentle! All low pH products with citric acid are a godsend for someone like me with an allergy to acidic ingredients. Please don't discontinue this... I'll buy it for life! Absolutely none whatsoever... zero! - w2********Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinDark CirclesInner DrynessRednessRecommendedMay 9, 2025
I've heard so many good things about it, and it really is great! First off, being a gel, it's refreshingly cool and provides a cooling effect during cleansing. It's also incredibly gentle on the skin. When my skin barrier was completely compromised, leaving my skin rough and red, I felt like it made my skin feel raw again after use. I don't think it's the product's fault, but rather my skin was in such a state that it couldn't handle even gentle cleansing! If you have super sensitive skin, it's best to skip cleansing or just use water. Once your skin starts to improve or when you notice sebum production, this is an excellent choice to start cleansing again. It feels like the cleansing effectiveness might be a bit weak. It doesn't seem actually weak, but that's just the impression I get. It's fine on days when you're not wearing sunscreen, but it might feel a bit insufficient when you need to remove more stubborn products. You can use a soft, damp cotton pad or sponge for a gentle first cleanse with minimal irritation. - 2n********Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedMay 9, 2025
Skin condition: I have oily, slightly blemish-prone skin with scars, redness, rosacea, seborrheic dermatitis, and extremely sensitive skin. My skin is so reactive that it immediately turns red if I use the wrong foundation or even basic skincare like toners, serums, or creams. I haven't used sheet masks for about 2 years. Reason for purchase: I bought this product on my dermatologist's recommendation, who said it wouldn't cause any irritation at all. I've seen such great results for my skin barrier that I decided to write this review. Usage: First off, it's definitely less effective at cleansing than foam cleansers, cleansing waters, or cleansing oils. However, it's incredibly gentle and causes absolutely no irritation when washing. I use about one pump each time. I've been using this product for almost a year now, and I've gone through one small bottle and two large ones! Repurchase rate: As you can see from the before and after photos, my skin has improved dramatically. I no longer stress about my skin, and I can even handle slightly more intense treatments like Ulthera or InMode now! After cleansing, I use Creoxin-T, Ultra Skin, and then J*de Soothing Cream in that order. While this is an excellent product, my skin is no longer extremely sensitive, and since I have oily skin, I'm looking to switch to a product with a bit more cleansing power. It's also quite expensive. I highly recommend this product for those with truly sensitive skin or dermatitis. - eb*******Dry SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinInner DrynessMay 2, 2025
The cleansing effectiveness isn't bad, and it was less irritating when I applied it to my face It's quite drying, so I probably won't use it again. Might be okay for those with oily skin though - lu******Dry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedMar 25, 2025
Great for sensitive skin! The texture is gentle and it cleanses effectively. It removes makeup without irritation, even on bare skin. I didn't experience any irritation while using it, so I don't have any particular complaints. Since my skin barrier was compromised, I used about a nickel-sized amount. Instead of rubbing, I gently pressed it onto my skin and then rinsed with water! - da**********Dehydrated SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMar 22, 2025
It washes off smoothly, leaving my skin feeling silky and refreshed. It's so slippery that I'm worried it might cause disagreements among users. - na******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMar 16, 2025
I used to use cleansing water, but I heard that applying it with cotton pads could irritate the skin. So, I was recommended to try cleansing oil or gel. Oil didn't work for me as it caused blemishes, so I started looking for a gel-type product. That's when I discovered the Zeroid Dermanewal Cleansing Gel, which I've been using consistently ever since. What I love most about this product is that it's gentle on the skin since you massage it in with your hands. Unlike cleansing water, you don't need cotton pads, and it doesn't feel heavy or leave residue like oils do. It's perfect for my combination dehydrated skin. Despite being mild, it has great cleansing effectiveness and removes makeup well. Of course, double cleansing is still necessary, but I'm satisfied that there's no feeling of residue after the first cleanse. Another great point is that it doesn't cause any blemishes after use. Having super sensitive skin, I was worried about breakouts when trying new cleansing products, but this one caused no issues at all. Some effective cleansers can leave your skin feeling tight, but this one keeps my skin comfortable with minimal deep dryness, which is why I keep using it. The price is also reasonable, making it easy to use without worry. I usually only wear sunscreen, so I don't go through cleansing products quickly, but this one cleanses effectively even with a small amount. Considering the volume for the price, it offers good value for money, so I plan to keep using it consistently. There's nothing I dislike about it. The product quality and price are all great, which is why I've been using it for three years now.
