This product is truly gentle! The texture is like aloe gel - even the transparent appearance is identical to aloe gel! When applied to the skin, it feels moisturizing, and with its low viscosity, it has a pleasant feel on the skin. Recently, I've been experiencing redness and skin peeling due to allergies, and I've been using steroid ointment. I was looking for a gentle cleansing product, and this is perfect! Additional update after using almost the entire bottle: It's genuinely gentle and non-irritating - I love it so much. Especially since it's a trustworthy Zeroid product, I'll definitely repurchase it with my own money when I run out. It's great for morning cleansing or on days when I'm not wearing much makeup. Zeroid is amazing! The cleansing effectiveness isn't exceptional. It doesn't remove Double Wear foundation very well (though that's understandable given how long-lasting Double Wear is). While it removes eyebrow makeup, it doesn't remove Clio eyeliner or mascara at all. If you're wearing makeup, you'll need to use a lip and eye remover and double cleanse. I recommend this as a gentle cleanser for those who don't wear makeup or don't use foundation. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinDec 2, 2022
Skin type: Sensitive/Dry. My skin tends to flake when I wear makeup due to dryness. If I apply too little product, my skin feels tight and dry. On the other hand, if I apply too much or use products that are too rich, it feels like my pores are clogged, causing sudden redness and itching. I have dermatitis and slight rosacea on my cheeks with visible capillaries. 1. Texture: It's a soft gel-type cleanser that doesn't produce much foam. I used to use makeup wipes, but I've switched to this. The wipes were irritating and caused redness. With the sudden cold weather, my seborrheic dermatitis flared up again, feeling prickly and bumpy. So I went back to using a gel-type cleanser, and it's definitely helping. The gel applies smoothly, and I use it without water, just massaging it onto my face. 2. Scent: There's no particular fragrance. 3. Cleansing effectiveness: As it's a gel type, I massaged it onto my skin and then rinsed with water. Especially nowadays, since I rarely wear makeup due to mask-wearing, this cleanser alone seems sufficient. It even removes eyebrow pencil and eyeliner. Those new to gel cleansers might wonder if it's cleaning thoroughly since it doesn't foam (no squeaky clean feeling). But if you have sensitive skin or want a gentle, non-irritating cleanser, I highly recommend this product. 4. Hydration: There's noticeably less tightness after cleansing. Before using this, my skin would feel extremely tight and parched shortly after washing, especially in this cold season. But with this gel cleanser, there's no irritation, and it feels hydrating. The dryness is significantly reduced. It would also be great for morning cleansing. 5. Drawbacks: The cap is inconvenient to open with one hand - it's too tightly closed. A pump dispenser would be more convenient. Due to the lack of foam, it might not feel as 'clean', and it doesn't have strong cleansing power. Double cleansing is necessary for heavy makeup. 6. Overall impression: Hydration: 4.5 Cleansing effectiveness: 3.7 Blemishes/Sensitivity (suitable for all skin types): 4.5 Price: 3.9 If you have sensitive skin or are looking for a gentle, non-irritating cleanser with good hydration, I highly recommend this product! - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinDec 2, 2022
It feels like I'm slathering aloe gel all over my face! I was skeptical about its cleansing power, but surprisingly, it actually works well! The product effectively removed basic makeup, including base, eyebrows, eyeshadow, and contouring. While it may require a second cleanse for eyeliner and mascara, I've heard great things about its gentle ingredients and how the cleansing gel is non-irritating for the skin. I'll likely continue using it. This was my first time using a cleansing gel, so the experience was quite unique. Unlike other cleansing products that give a 'washing' sensation, this gel felt like it was just gliding over my face. It doesn't transform when it comes into contact with water like oil cleansers do, so I was unsure if it was actually cleansing or not. Also, it didn't remove mascara or eyeliner very well, so I had to do a partial second cleanse for those areas. My daily routine: 1. Use lip and eye remover for initial cleanse of eyes and lips 2. Use cleansing gel to remove residue and remaining makeup 3. Follow up with skincare routine I've been following this routine daily, and it seems to be working well without putting too much stress on my skin. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinDec 2, 2022
▶️ Skin type: Super sensitive, combination skin ▶️ Texture: Transparent gel ▶️ Blemishes: None whatsoever ▶️ Zeroid products are famous for being gentle, so I used it without worrying about irritation. As expected, it was truly gentle. The moment it touched my skin, I could feel how mild it was, and it didn't sting even when it got in my eyes. But what I loved most was how hydrating it is... It's the perfect cleansing product for winter!!! As someone with extremely sensitive skin, this product was amazing for me. Highly recommended for those with sensitive skin!!! ▶️ It doesn't seem to be a foaming product. If you prefer cleansers with lots of foam, keep this in mind! ▶️ If you wear makeup, double cleansing is a must!! The cleansing effectiveness isn't particularly strong. Oh! You know you need to double cleanse even if you only wear sunscreen, right?? I usually double cleanse anyway, so it wasn't an issue for me, but those who find it bothersome might find it inconvenient..?? If you wear makeup, first use an eye makeup remover, then a cleansing water to remove face makeup, and finally use the Zeroid Cleansing Gel for a thorough cleanse. You know what happens when you don't cleanse properly, right? Your skin can freak out... - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinDec 2, 2022
The Hwahae Testers review: Skin type: Combination dehydrated skin with an oily T-zone and dry elsewhere. Super sensitive skin that reacts with small bumps or itching when using products with incompatible ingredients. 👍 Scent Fragrance-free. Like most gentle products, this one has no scent, which is typical for low-irritation products suitable for sensitive skin. Great for those with fragrance sensitivities. 👍 Texture Being a gel type, it spreads smoothly when massaged onto the face. You can feel the hydration and a slight cooling sensation. Since you're massaging it on dry skin, it doesn't foam up - just massage it in like you would a facial massage. 👍 Cleansing effectiveness Due to my sensitive skin, I avoided using cotton pads and instead massaged with the cleansing gel before rinsing with water. As I don't wear heavy makeup, I found that even this first cleanse with just the gel removed all my base makeup. Not perfect for all makeup While it effectively removed base makeup, it struggled with eye makeup. For this, you'll need to use a separate eye makeup remover followed by a second cleanse with a foaming cleanser. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinDec 1, 2022
First off, using a cleansing gel without foam was quite novel. It felt light and refreshing, unlike heavy and stuffy oil-based products. The texture reminded me of applying aloe soothing gel. Being truly colorless and fragrance-free made it feel a bit strange to use at first. I typically wear light foundation and lip color daily, and on rest days I just cleanse and apply cream. So I tried this product after heavy makeup, after my usual light makeup, and for morning cleansing. The gel type provides a cooling effect and allows for gentle rolling, causing no irritation. The tube packaging is also hygienic, letting you dispense just the right amount. After makeup, it worked best to massage thoroughly and then wipe off with a cotton pad. For bare face cleansing, rinsing directly with water was fine. It felt slippery while washing and left my skin feeling hydrated afterwards. Without applying anything else, my skin didn't feel tight, but I could sense it needed some moisturizer. While it wasn't ideal for heavy makeup, it seemed to work well for foundation if you massage thoroughly. For makeup removal, I'd still do a second cleanse, but this might work better as a second cleanser rather than the first step. The cleansing effectiveness for heavy makeup was somewhat disappointing. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinNov 30, 2022
✔️Skin Type Combination-oily + winter combination dehydrated skin, prone to small pustular acne ✔️Cleansing Effectiveness & Texture I use this as my first cleanser when wearing makeup. The cleansing power is surprisingly nice. Although I don't wear heavy makeup, it removes eyeliner completely! Unlike typical foaming cleansers, this has a transparent, soothing gel-like texture. Just massage it onto your skin and wipe off to finish cleansing. After use, I wipe with a cotton pad and rinse with water. The cleansing process is so gentle that you might wonder if it actually cleaned your skin. ✔️Incredibly Gentle on Skin I've always loved Zeroid products. I was already using their hydration cream line, so I had complete faith in this cleansing gel. It cleanses without irritation, and there's no tightness or blemishes after washing. I love it so much... While I didn't experience any dramatic skin changes from this cleanser alone, it definitely caused zero irritation to my skin. - Unlike intense cleansers, it doesn't give that super thorough clean feeling. Due to this, I noticed some texture on my forehead. So I switched from just rinsing with water to using a cotton pad, followed by a second cleanse, which helped calm things down. It might not be suitable for those who wear heavy makeup. It's better for people who wear light makeup or no makeup at all, or for cleansing on makeup-free days. It's extremely gentle and low-irritation, which is great for the skin... - After the first cleanse, wipe with a cotton pad and proceed with a second cleanse - If you're wearing makeup, this product alone won't remove everything completely. Don't think of it as a typical cleansing foam. Despite this, I still recommend this product because it's so gentle and non-irritating to the skin! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinOct 12, 2022
* Sensation during application: It glides on smoothly with a hydrating feel. I even used it around my eyes to remove eyeliner (crayon type) and it didn't sting or irritate, while effectively removing makeup. The moisture-rich gel feels soothing as it rolls across the face, leaving skin feeling calm and pleasantly hydrated. Unlike cleansing oils I've used before, it doesn't get into the eyes, which is a huge plus. * Softness and hydration after rinsing: As you rinse, you can feel a mysterious softness where the cleanser has been. It's definitely more on the gentle side compared to alkaline cleansers that leave skin feeling squeaky clean. Compared to foam-rich gel cleansers, it leaves skin feeling softer and more hydrated without any residue. * Nearly fragrance-free: It's essentially unscented, with just a faint hint of the natural ingredients. However, it's not noticeable during use. The lack of fragrance actually gives it a milder, skin-friendly feel. * Cleansing power: It's slightly lacking when it comes to removing BB cream, foundation, or waterproof formulas. I prefer to cleanse multiple times rather than leaving it on for a set time. It takes at least 3 rounds of cleansing to feel like it's properly removed. It might be better suited as a first step in a double cleansing routine. * Oil control, ideal for morning cleanse: It does a decent job of cleansing oils and impurities. This cleanser seems more suitable for morning use rather than evening when there's more oil and debris to remove. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSep 16, 2022
Since I don't usually wear heavy makeup and only apply sunscreen, I was hesitant to use a cleanser with strong cleansing power. However, I love that this product allows me to cleanse gently without irritation. After washing, my skin doesn't feel tight, and the cleansing effectiveness seems just right, so I'm using it well. It seems like there might be residue left from heavy makeup. On days when I wear color cosmetics, double cleansing is a must! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinSep 13, 2022
I've had acne-prone skin since I was young, though it's much better now. While professional treatments helped a lot, I still struggled to find the right daily cleanser since it's something I use every day. Then I saw The Hwahae Testers reviewing Zeroid, a brand known for its dermatologist-recommended products. I applied and was lucky enough to try it out! It's incredibly gentle and easy to use for cleansing. You just massage it onto dry skin and wipe it off. The instructions said to use a cotton pad, but I rinsed with water to minimize friction on my skin, which worked perfectly. It's also great for quick morning cleansing, especially when I've used spot treatments the night before that don't fully wash off with just water. Best of all, my skin never feels dry or tight after washing! Being a gentle cleansing gel, it's not as effective at removing heavy makeup. In those cases, I use a separate cleansing oil or makeup remover first, then follow up with this product as a second cleanse. Other than that, I don't have any complaints!
