A cleanser recommended by dermatologists. It's great because it doesn't cause blemishes. I feel like I've been using it consistently for 5 or 6 years. Honestly, I prefer cleansing waters because they're more convenient, but all the products I used were discontinued, so I reluctantly came back to this with a heavy heart. I hope this product never gets discontinued! Be very careful not to get it in your eyes when cleansing, as it can cause a strong tingling sensation if it does. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAtopy SkinSensitive SkinDec 1, 2022
First off, it's incredibly gentle! I have an immune hypersensitivity skin condition, so finding a suitable cleanser is super challenging. Surprisingly, this didn't trigger any allergic reactions. To be honest, some of Zeroid's basic products don't work for me, and I'm sensitive to fragrances, preferring unscented options. This one is practically odorless. I loved the transparent formula. The texture is just right - not too heavy or too light, with a consistency that slowly glides down. It felt like it was only removing what needed to be removed from my skin, leaving it feeling healthy. Because of this, I think it's better suited for bare skin or as a second cleanser when you want to be gentler on your skin, rather than using it directly on makeup. It seems like it could help maintain healthier skin. The ingredient list is short and free from harmful components, which is really reassuring. While it's truly a gentle product, I did feel a slight stinging sensation when I briefly opened my eyes mid-cleanse, so I quickly closed them. Some products can make my eyes tear up even after this, but this one was fine, which shows how mild it really is. It's not a foaming type, so you need to massage it directly onto your face. This means it might run out faster than expected. I'd be more inclined to repurchase if there were frequent price promotions. Due to my skin condition, I'm extremely sensitive to irritation. After applying, instead of wiping my face with a tissue, I repeatedly massaged with wet hands (similar to emulsifying cleansing oil). This method allowed for a really gentle removal. Sometimes products like this don't rinse off well and leave a thick, heavy residue that needs to be scraped off, but this one was excellent in that regard. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAtopy SkinSensitive SkinSep 12, 2022
The Hwahae Testers review!! (Dry skin, rosacea, redness) Zeroid is a brand I trust implicitly. I was curious about the cleansing gel at first, but the texture is just like aloe gel! It's incredibly gentle. While not sticky, it has a soft, hydrating aloe gel-like consistency. As someone with extreme sensitivity to redness, I was a bit worried about applying it without water. I usually avoid exfoliation, so I was concerned about friction, but surprisingly, there was no feeling of abrasion at all - probably due to its high moisture content. It felt like massaging aloe gel on my skin, then rinsing off with water when done. It rinses off easily, and the product itself feels clean. However, I gave it 4 stars because it doesn't feel as thorough as cleansing oil, and the lack of foam felt a bit unfamiliar. (Note: I only use sunscreen, no other makeup, so this is my only cleansing step) The gel-massage>finish process left me wondering if my sunscreen was properly removed, and the absence of foam felt somewhat lacking. So, I'm not entirely convinced to switch from my trusted low-pH cleansing foam to this gel. If I were using this as a first step before foam cleansing, I'd definitely consider it as a replacement for cleansing oil. True to Zeroid's reputation and low pH, there was no irritation or dryness. It felt very moisturizing and gentle from the moment I applied it, with no redness or blemishes appearing afterwards. Additionally, I found it stung a bit when cleansing around the eyes. This was slightly disappointing. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinSep 12, 2022
I didn't use cotton pads to remove it. My skin is quite sensitive, and I'm trying to be environmentally conscious, so I didn't want to use cotton pads unnecessarily. I just rinsed it off with water, and it seemed to remove well, which was satisfying! (I usually wear sunscreen and brightening moisturizer.) The scent was also pleasant - not overpowering, but gentle, which I liked. The first couple of times, perhaps due to my inexperience, it kept getting into my eyes and caused a tingling sensation. Maybe it's because I used it right after drying my hands (roughly with a towel)? There might have been a bit of moisture left on my hands. But does that mean the aloe gel-like texture immediately turns into a watery consistency? That's disappointing. While my eyes didn't sting terribly, they did tingle. Make sure your hands are completely dry! - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinSep 12, 2022
The texture is just like an aloe soothing gel. My skin is combination and sensitive, but I didn't experience any blemishes after use and it felt comfortable. It's not a product with any standout features, but it's great as a morning cleanser or for evening use when you're not wearing makeup. As a first-step cleanser for removing makeup, it feels too light, so I'm not sure if it's effectively cleansing. It's probably best to use this when you're not wearing makeup. Also, be very careful about getting it in your eyes as many people have mentioned. It really stings quite a bit. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinSep 12, 2022
- For sensitive, combination, dehydrated, blemish-prone, and mildly atopic skin. - A transparent gel with a light consistency, reminiscent of a hydrating aloe vera gel. - Due to skin sensitivity, cotton pads are a no-go; finish with water only. - Effectively removes light brightening moisturizers and sunscreen. - Impressively removes even waterproof mascara and long-lasting tints that resist cleansing oils, leaving almost no residue. This was quite a pleasant surprise. - The product's transparency allows you to see your base makeup dissolving as you massage it in, providing visual satisfaction. This adds a bit of a thrill. - Leaves skin feeling slightly refreshed before using a foam cleanser. - First experience with Zeroid products, and I'm starting to fall for it. - The thin consistency means it can drip when dispensing. Be careful when applying to your face. - Stings the eyes quite a bit. Make sure to keep your eyes tightly closed. - I applied it all over my face, got distracted for a moment, then came back to massage it in. It felt like it removed makeup even more effectively this way. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinSep 12, 2022
My skin condition: I've been struggling with extremely dry skin and blemishes for 2 months now. Due to skin itching and mysterious bumps, I've only been using a prescribed emulsion from the dermatologist. I knew Zeroid Cleansing Gel was sold at hospitals and had good ingredients, so I was eager to try it. I'm glad I got the chance to use it. After removing eye and lip makeup separately, I used this as my first cleanse. At first, I wasn't sure if it was actually cleansing - it didn't feel like it was rolling off makeup products like an oil cleanser would. However, after rinsing with water, my skin felt clean. After double cleansing, I could definitely feel how moisturized my skin was. As someone with dry skin, I'm satisfied. Also, while massaging it in, I felt like it was gently exfoliating my dead skin cells. As mentioned in other reviews, there is some eye irritation. I was surprised, given the good ingredients. So now I massage around the eye area last and rinse it off immediately. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinSensitive SkinApr 12, 2022
I've been using this for two years and it's been great - no irritation and no deep dryness. After trying other products, I really noticed how this one doesn't leave my skin feeling tight. Since the product was reformulated, my eyes have been stinging and burning. Even when I only apply it to my cheeks, not around the eyes, the burning sensation in my eyes lasts for over 3-4 hours. Try the enclosed sample first before using the full-size product. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJan 15, 2022
As someone with super sensitive skin, I once found even cotton pads irritating. While searching for something gentler, I discovered this product. Being a gel, it's hydrating and doesn't leave my skin feeling as dry as oil cleansers do after rinsing. It's really nice! The downside is... I'm not sure if it's just this product, but if it gets into your eyes while cleansing, it stings quite badly. Also, as you're cleansing, it turns watery and starts dripping. This can be a bit annoying... - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinSep 12, 2021
Skin type: Oily (My skin is sensitive, so even slightly incompatible products can cause acne or blemishes) Product texture: Gel-type Scent: Unscented (transparent color) Positive points: - Convenient as it can remove makeup in one go - Recommended by my dermatologist, and it's noticeably less irritating to the skin - Suitable for use both morning and evening - It seems to exfoliate dead skin cells if you keep massaging it (though I'm not sure if this is the correct way to use it...) - Can sting if it accidentally gets into the eyes - Sometimes there's a slight vinegar-like smell if you keep massaging it Go for the large size!
