It usually flares up at the slightest provocation, with folliculitis throwing a party at every opportunity. However, this product didn't cause any adverse reactions. It felt particularly gentle, with no noticeable irritation.
ConsWhile it didn't cause any irritation, I can't say it had any significant benefits either. It seemed to have no effect at all - my skin neither worsened nor improved, so I'm unsure if it's actually suitable for me. Also, although I've gotten used to it now, the lack of foam makes it feel like it's not cleansing effectively.

ConsCompared to other products, its ability to remove color makeup is slightly less effective.

I bought this when my skin was going through a rough patch, as it was said to be gentle. While it is indeed mild, I found it didn't effectively cleanse foundation-type products that cling to the skin, so it ended up tucked away in a bathroom corner. Recently, I've been skipping makeup and just applying mineral sunscreen. Regular foam cleansers don't quite cut it for removing mineral sunscreen. Using an oil cleanser felt too heavy for just sunscreen, so I decided to give Zeroid another try after a long time. It's amazing! The sunscreen transforms into a water-like consistency with the gel and simply rinses away. It's gentle, smooth, and absolutely perfect for removing sunscreen.
ConsIt doesn't seem to completely remove long-lasting or pore-covering foundations. Be careful - it stings quite a bit if it gets in your eyes.

Then I found this product and it was like seeing the light... I've been using it for years now and it's truly, truly, truly, truly gentle!!
ConsIn winter, it's fine and doesn't make my skin feel tight after cleansing. But in summer, when my sebum production increases, my skin becomes oily again soon after washing... If you have non-sensitive oily skin, you might need something with more cleansing effectiveness. Also, it's a bit pricey for the amount you get.
TipRequest a sample from the official website and try it before purchasing!

Whenever my skin feels like it's about to break out or when blemishes are threatening to appear, I always turn to Zeroid for cleansing. It's my go-to when my skin sends distress signals.
ConsThe price is wickedly high. And for those who wear makeup, don't expect a thorough cleanse with this. However, the ingredients are top-notch, so that's a definite plus!

I mainly use their Soothing Emulsion and Soothing Cream, but I was lucky enough to try their Cleansing Gel. As expected from a gentle brand, what I loved most was how it didn't irritate my skin at all. After having a baby, my once-oily skin became dry and super sensitive, easily turning red and feeling tingly at the slightest provocation. My previous cleansers would sting if I massaged them too much, but with this product, my skin felt consistently comfortable and soothed throughout use. After cleansing, instead of that squeaky-clean feeling, my skin felt soft and hydrated, which was perfect for my skin type. Usually, my face would feel dry immediately after washing, but with this cleanser, the moisturized feeling lasted longer without any immediate tightness. As for cleansing effectiveness, I didn't find it lacking, but that might be because I'm a new mom who mostly just wears sunscreen. It seems suitable for morning cleansing too.
ConsIt might be a bit insufficient for removing heavy makeup.
TipWhen your skin barrier is compromised, using this along with other Zeroid basic skincare products can be really helpful. When my skin is so damaged that everything stings, I only apply Zeroid Soothing Cream and nothing else.

A year ago, my skin was in terrible condition, so I went to a dermatologist. They told me my skin barrier was severely damaged and I needed to focus on repairing it. At the time, I was using a cleansing milk, but the doctor advised against anything with oil and recommended Zeroid Cleansing Gel and Soothing Foam. I've been using them ever since, even buying the large sizes, and my skin has improved significantly! Unlike other cleansing gels that foam up, this one is different. You massage it like a milk or oil cleanser, then rinse with water. When I've worn sunscreen or makeup, I use the cleansing gel followed by the soothing foam. In the mornings, to minimize irritation, I wet my face first before applying the gel. Even with this gentle approach, my skin feels clean and wonderfully hydrated, not stripped at all. Now, I can't use harsh foaming cleansers like Witch XX or Perfect X anymore - they make my skin feel like it's cracking! Even though I have oily skin, I prefer a moisturized feel over that squeaky-clean sensation. I'll be using Zeroid Cleansing Gel forever - it's my holy grail!
ConsThe price... It's quite expensive. But I'll keep using it anyway!
TipYou get lots of samples with your purchase. If you feel your skin barrier is severely compromised, try wetting your face with water before using the cleanser in the morning - it might help!

Being a cleansing gel, I was initially skeptical about its cleansing effectiveness. My skin has been super sensitive lately, prone to irritation from the slightest misstep. However, I was pleasantly surprised by its gentle, non-irritating gel texture. With more occasions for makeup lately, I used this product to remove face makeup after using cleansing water for eye makeup. It removed everything thoroughly, leaving my skin clean, soft, and not at all dry. It's gentle enough for sensitive skin and effectively cleanses in one go, reducing the need for multiple products and minimizing irritation. The fragrance-free formula is a plus, making it suitable for all preferences. I'll definitely repurchase after finishing this one.
ConsThe only slight drawback is that it might cause a bit of eye irritation if used when eyes are dry after wearing contact lenses for extended periods. Other than that, I didn't encounter any significant issues or concerns with the product.
TipAfter applying the gel, massage gently, then wipe off with a slightly coarse sponge instead of a cotton pad. This helps exfoliate and remove dead skin cells to some extent!

This gel cleanser feels much gentler than cleansing waters or oils. I'm also reassured by its simple ingredient list, free from harmful substances. Unlike cleansing waters that require cotton pads and can irritate the skin, the Zeroid Dermanewal Cleanser has a gel texture that allows for gentle rolling, causing less irritation. Even with my sensitive skin, I didn't experience any flare-ups, which was satisfying. For makeup removal, I found it best to use this gel cleanser, rinse with water, and follow up with a gentle foam cleanser for a thorough cleanse. I also appreciate that it's less drying compared to other cleansers.
ConsThe product container is a bit inconvenient to open and close every time I use it. I wish it came in a pump dispenser format.
TipUse alone for morning cleansing, and as a first step cleanser when removing makeup!

I was pleased with the gentle components of this cleansing gel, which felt comfortable on my skin. The actual experience was completely irritation-free. It gave a soft and mild cleansing sensation. The colorless, transparent gel formula applied smoothly, and the tube packaging made it easy to control the amount used. - Slightly acidic pH This might be a matter of personal preference, but I appreciated the low pH as it allowed for a non-irritating cleanse. It was gentle enough to use even on facial wounds without causing irritation. There was no stinging or burning sensation in the eyes, making it a mild and effective cleanser. - Fragrance As someone who dislikes artificial scents, I was happy that this product is nearly fragrance-free, allowing for a pleasant user experience. - Hydration Typical of a gentle cleanser, it didn't leave my face feeling tight after washing. It's a great product for a light, mild cleanse that doesn't strip the skin.
ConsGiven its gentle nature, the cleansing effectiveness might be somewhat lacking. While it's fine for morning cleansing, if you're wearing sunscreen or more, a single cleanse won't be enough to properly remove makeup. You'll need to double cleanse in those cases.
TipWhile I wouldn't call it a secret tip, this cleanser seems ideal for morning use or as a second step in a double cleansing routine. For those concerned about skin irritation, it's better to rinse off the cleanser with water rather than using cotton pads. This method seems to be less irritating and provides a cleaner finish.
