I highly recommend this for those with sensitive skin or a damaged skin barrier. It's probably the gentlest cleanser I've ever used. It absolutely doesn't remove sunscreen, so it's best suited for morning cleansing only. Since it's a mild, non-foaming gel type, its cleansing effectiveness is quite low. It almost feels like you haven't used a cleanser at all, which might make it unsuitable for evening cleansing. For those with super sensitive skin or combination dehydrated skin, this cleanser could be a great addition to your daily skincare routine. However, keep in mind that while it's gentle enough for morning use, you might need a more effective cleanser for removing makeup and sunscreen in the evening. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinSensitive SkinMay 9, 2025
I've heard so many good things about it, and it really is great! First off, being a gel, it's refreshingly cool and provides a cooling effect during cleansing. It's also incredibly gentle on the skin. When my skin barrier was completely compromised, leaving my skin rough and red, I felt like it made my skin feel raw again after use. I don't think it's the product's fault, but rather my skin was in such a state that it couldn't handle even gentle cleansing! If you have super sensitive skin, it's best to skip cleansing or just use water. Once your skin starts to improve or when you notice sebum production, this is an excellent choice to start cleansing again. It feels like the cleansing effectiveness might be a bit weak. It doesn't seem actually weak, but that's just the impression I get. It's fine on days when you're not wearing sunscreen, but it might feel a bit insufficient when you need to remove more stubborn products. You can use a soft, damp cotton pad or sponge for a gentle first cleanse with minimal irritation. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMay 9, 2025
Skin condition: I have oily, slightly blemish-prone skin with scars, redness, rosacea, seborrheic dermatitis, and extremely sensitive skin. My skin is so reactive that it immediately turns red if I use the wrong foundation or even basic skincare like toners, serums, or creams. I haven't used sheet masks for about 2 years. Reason for purchase: I bought this product on my dermatologist's recommendation, who said it wouldn't cause any irritation at all. I've seen such great results for my skin barrier that I decided to write this review. Usage: First off, it's definitely less effective at cleansing than foam cleansers, cleansing waters, or cleansing oils. However, it's incredibly gentle and causes absolutely no irritation when washing. I use about one pump each time. I've been using this product for almost a year now, and I've gone through one small bottle and two large ones! Repurchase rate: As you can see from the before and after photos, my skin has improved dramatically. I no longer stress about my skin, and I can even handle slightly more intense treatments like Ulthera or InMode now! After cleansing, I use Creoxin-T, Ultra Skin, and then J*de Soothing Cream in that order. While this is an excellent product, my skin is no longer extremely sensitive, and since I have oily skin, I'm looking to switch to a product with a bit more cleansing power. It's also quite expensive. I highly recommend this product for those with truly sensitive skin or dermatitis. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAtopy SkinSensitive SkinMay 1, 2025
The cleansing effectiveness isn't bad, and it was less irritating when I applied it to my face It's quite drying, so I probably won't use it again. Might be okay for those with oily skin though - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinMar 25, 2025
Great for sensitive skin! The texture is gentle and it cleanses effectively. It removes makeup without irritation, even on bare skin. I didn't experience any irritation while using it, so I don't have any particular complaints. Since my skin barrier was compromised, I used about a nickel-sized amount. Instead of rubbing, I gently pressed it onto my skin and then rinsed with water! - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinFeb 21, 2025
It's gentle and doesn't irritate my skin, which is why I like it. The downside is that its cleansing effectiveness seems a bit weak... It might not be enough to use on its own. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAtopy SkinSensitive SkinFeb 15, 2025
I tried this because it's said to be good for sensitive skin and preventing moisture loss. Thanks to the glycerin's hydrating properties, it's gentle and non-irritating, making it great for morning cleansing and as a cleansing gel. The only downside is that it's too large to carry around as a portable size. For best results, use the cleansing gel on dry skin in the morning. When wearing makeup, start with a cleansing milk for the first cleanse, then follow up with the gel for a thorough double cleanse. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinFeb 9, 2025
I've been consistently using this cleansing gel for 4 years now! As someone with acne-prone skin, I've tried cleansing oils, creams, tissues, and waters, but this gel is truly the best! It's gentle and effectively removes makeup without irritation. I only wear BB cream, and when I use this gel followed by a foam cleanser, my skin feels incredibly clean. I can't imagine being without this product! There's absolutely nothing to complain about. It comes in a large size, it's gentle on the skin, and it's simply a perfect product. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAtopy SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJan 13, 2025
It's gentle enough to use on combination dehydrated and super sensitive skin types While it might not be the most effective at removing stubborn makeup like mascara, it's generally good for overall skin care - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJan 9, 2025
It's gentle and gel-like, so there's no irritation! This would be great for those with super sensitive skin! I didn't find any downsides! Since I don't wear heavy makeup, it worked well for me both morning and night.
